Finally got around to posting this, one year later! This is a tour of my dorm room when I studied abroad at the University of Edinburgh last spring. I know when I was applying to UoE, I did a lot of research attempting to learn more about the living situation at the school, but could not find much information. I hope this video is helpful to those who are looking to and planning on studying abroad at UoE!
I lived in a single in New Arthur Place, which was around a 10 min walk from George Square, with three other students, two full time and one abroad student. Our flat consisted of 4 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen.

I like this vedio!!! I found that really helpful as I'm planning to go there for exchange for a semester in 2020! I have 3 universities that I can choose from and now that I watch the vedio, and get to know a little about the living situation, I will feel more comfortable if I go there! Thanks for sharing!

Oh my god... thank you so much! This was so informative..... I literally scoured the internet searching for info on accommodation and it was SO difficult! I'm gonna be studying at Uni of E for a full year and I just got assigned to South Clerk St. I'm really hoping to switch to New Arthur Place :) Do you have any other accommodation suggestions or tips for surviving U of E?

Hi, I've been following your videos of UoE since last year and, as an upcoming undergrad student at Edinburgh, I have one major question concerning the relations between the students and the professors. So far my learning experience focused on quite small groups and a relatively close relationship with basically all of my teachers and I am wondering how it was for you when you were still studying in the UK :) ?

Love this! So helpful. I’ll also be studying the spring semester but in 2019. Are people aloud to sleep in one another’s dorms/flats? Also, I’m sure you know how in the states here at universities some people will leave their dorm door open to make new friends. Is that a thing there?
