I love the effort you put into this video! Really helps out as a high school senior trying to figure where I want to go for college. And the subtitles in two languages shows you care about reaching a broader audience than other people whose videos I've watched. Thank you!
Thank you Kevin! I went to UF 25 years ago and now my son will be there in the fall! I loved your video especially your personal advice! Glad to know great kids like you are at UF! I hope you keep making videos so we can all see the great things you will achieve in the future! Go Gators!
Thanks for making this! I’m an incoming freshman and didn’t get to do a tour before the campus closed, so this is really helpful! Could you do a video of some good places to study/study tips?

I would love a studying video Cs I’m currently about to start my 2 year of high school and would love to get my grade better to go to uf one day to play basketball!!!!
@@avosloth383 i chose the other option unfortunately because UF is out of state for me and i didn’t receive any financial aid so it was too expensive. UF was my first choice too :(
great video! I'm considering this place for graduate school and despite this video targeting undergrads, this was really helpful to get a feel for the campus
Thank u so much for making this vid so I can actually learn about these halls instead of blindly choosing one lmao. I can find only little on each bldg area.
I remember 3 years ago in 4th grade i won a art contest and was supposed to present my art in the university of flordia but I was sick :( UF is still my dream college and I hope to play football at UF
What a great video! We drove through campus a few months ago and let my kids imagine what it would be like to be a student -- and they even got to run the steps at the stadium. I'm looking forward to this for them!
I've just been accepted to UF. Yeah! I'm thinking about applying for a dormitory, but I'm wondering if the lease is for a year or a semester. Also, what happens if I want to attend summer school? Can I stay at the dorm or do I need to move out, rent a place, and then move back in the fall? Thank you.
Wow Kevin! What a great video. I really loved your transitions and your editing style with this. Great job! I graduated from UF some years ago and it’s incredible to see how much it’s changed since I was there - especially the Rietz Union. The bookstore used to be in another building. UF was and is such a great school! I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for giving me this tour. It was great to see all the locations again. Such great memories! Looking forward to your other videos to come.
Great video!! I had a great laugh at the engineering joke at the tower...ha! My son is an engineering major and will be living on campus this Fall. I sent him this video and I'm so glad you walked through things and broke it down. Awesome!
Hello!Im from Japan and I am interested in the UF.However I can’t go visit and see the campus so I am so thankful to you ☺️ I want to hear more about the dining and the gym 😄
this is such a good video!! thanks for making it so in-depth, very helpful for class of 2025 who’s tours were all online😢 patiently waiting for my decision tomorrow😬
I’m a freshman in high school right now and I’m trying to learn a lot of things about different colleges that have what I want and this is the number one school in Florida for it and that’s a great thing because I love the Florida gators. Also this video showed me a lot about the University. Thank you
It’s very smart on your part to be looking at colleges in 9th grade. I wish I had spent my high school years prioritizing college instead of living in the present moment. My daughter is in 9th grade too, but like I was, she isn’t thinking of the future as much as she should. She’s very smart and makes all A’s but it’s only because my wife and I constantly stay on her case. I’m doing the job of looking and comparing colleges because I learned from my mistakes and I worry about her because even though she’s smart, she isn’t self-motivated like you seem to be. Kudos to you for planning way ahead and good luck.
Thank you for the video!! Tell me please, what is happening right now on the campus? Are the classes in person or online? Do you have to wear a mask only inside or outside as well? Are students required to do Covid tests weekly? I see that there are no campus tours right now; do you have any idea when they are going to resume?
I graduated from UF with my BS 2018 and MS in 2019 and miss roaming around campus. You’re video is great and allowed me to fell like I was in Gainesville again. Keep up the great work.
Kevin! You did such an awesome job on this video! I work in the Reitz Union and I'm very impressed with this presentation. Thank you so much for this! I hope to find more from you.
Atleast you took it out of the dryer and not the washer. I would be so mad if I had to rewash all my clothes. Question I went to university of kentucky for a little bit is it like that where the sporting events are free for students except basketball and football?
@@milahouk1731 I completely forgot I commented this haha, I got in! But surprisingly I chose fsu because they had a research program I was interested in and I liked the campus better
Hey Kevin, great job on the video. My son accepted his admission for fall, 2023. (Olympia High School in Orlando). He is a studious person, classic pianist, but also involved in sports, etc., He is wanting to stay in a dorm that is not late night parties, etc., any recommendations? Close to gym/food services? Thanks!
Hi Kevin, I love your videos very informative! Quick question Is there any good and affordable authentic asian restaurants or Asian supermarkets near campus? my daughter cannot live without asian food (chinese, taiwanese or Vietnamese)thank you!
I’m glad my video is helpful! Yes! we do have 2 Chinese markets and 1 Korean market that I know of. They have all kinds of meats and vegetables and sauces that I use regularly. There are also a few good Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese restaurants I really like.
Wow so many things to compliment I dont know where to begin. I have to say I was surprised you put the face mask on the right way lol. I've been to the stadium multiple times but never visited any of the other places. And your right you dont just see the Gator spirit you feel it intensely. Chomp Chomp. That joke you told about the engineers was very funny lol. And omg false hope big time. I thought for sure that you found a bathroom lmao. Love the video and I'll check out some of the others you have. Thanks
Hi Kevin, can I please ask what your major is? (Seems you are engineering from the things you mentioned about the library and the engineering student joke, but I can't be too sure)
I'm planning to go to the University of North Florida. If I could afford it I would transfer to Gator land. University of Florida is nice just too expensive if u don't have scholarship.
This was an amazing video, I was kinda confuse about going to UF, but this really cheer me up. I’m a really outgoing person, so definitely one of the topics that I would love to watch forward Is about social life. I hear that there’s not too much to do in Gainesville, so I’m really curious about how true that is. Thx🥰!!
I'm not sure where or how far Gainesville is from Jacksonville. I would just visit the city once I move to Florida. I remember watching a lot of Florida Gator games growing up.
This was very helpful and felt more informational than a lot of the other tours and internet resources. I’ll be going to UF in the fall as an Engineering student lmao. Thank you!
Do you still study there? I assume so. This video was very helpful. I sent an application last night after reviewing an email from ERAU and Daytona Beach University. I'm doing undergrad associates. I'm only 16 and would really love to have you there to show me around, I do know they have a great staff but this was very informative. I'm going to major in criminology, a lot of different topics but my main goal is CSI. And a lot of extracurricular activities or just activities and trying to start my own businesses.
Thank you for this video, it's very helpful and informative!! Wondering if UF helps students with internships/coops? Any job recruitment? How is the social life and do you know anything about the Computer Science department/professors? Any tips on how to choose a dorm or is that out of the students' control?
This was so helpfull! I think I might be doing an exchange semester in UF, because my university in germany has a partnership with them. The campus is so big! Thanks you for the video!
This is amazing, Kevin! Thank you. I've shared this on our FB page for the English Language Institute. You will be helping many new international students coming here!!! #GoGators #ThisIsHome
