Thanks for this video, thinking of going oak house because it’s the most affordable in fallowfield. Heard some terrible things about it but you’ve reassured me a bit about choosing it.
Don’t go oak house if you don’t like to party everyday and drink lots of alcohol. Also if you care about sleep and getting work done then don’t go there
A strong passion for languages was born in me but I'm not good at it, I don't know if my fatigue is connected to my being sensitive, introverted and blocked or not because I noticed that most people can study languages easily , I don't know if they were all born with the innate predisposition and I together with the minority are the only losers who don't have it and if you need to have a talent not to struggle with languages ♧
Hi I have a question, do the fees on the UoM accommodation webpage (~ £6,300) for most accommodations, show the full price or just the accommodation itself, discluding the catering prices ? If so how much does the catering cost for "catered accommodation" ?
ur channel is a gold mine for helping me choose uni!!! How is catered accom doing for corona? Like does everyone still eat together or is the food sent to ur rooms? I was thinking about that earlier ahaha
I do not know the price range off by heart! Was just speaking of my personal experience with the accomodation I live in and those I’ve visited and know of
Hi, I’ve got a quick question I really want self catered in fallow however, this means i have to put oak twice. Do you think this will dramatically increase my chance of getting oak?
Do you know where medical students tend to choose? I have an offer for medicine but I'm unsure whether I want to be close to the main library and stopford building, or at fallowfield which has a better social life
Ummm it’s pretty easy to get from fallow to stopford and the main library , a 20 min walk but medical students I’ve met have all been dotted around . Some prefer fallow , others Victoria park xx
hiya, I've got a place in richmond park but I'd prefer to have a more chilled out accom, would victoria park be a better choice or is better to be in fallow?
Richmond is really chill , it’s probably one of the best in fallow , the pros of Victoria park are definitely the proximity to the university but if not it’s a bit boring and I think most are catered x
Hi, I’m thinking of firming Manchester, but what’s the lecture sizes like etc? And what other ways are you taught e.g seminars/tutorials. I’ve applied to study English Literature :) x
Hello! So lectures are usually pretty big, if you saw the size of the lecture theatres they are massive ( not that I’ve been to any due to COVID) but we also do weekly tutorials with our tutors , also have 2 meetings with them one to one to talk about our progress and we do seminars too!!
Hi I havent got my accommodation offers yet but I have made a reservation at victoria point. By any chance do you know of anyone who lived/lives there and may you give me your opinion?
Ant the classes being face to face is all up in the air atm , we usually get updated by our department yet I’m unsure what decision they have made as we haven’t heard any recent news
Is there a reason you didn't get your choices? e.i was it your second option or just late to applying. Because I'm just wondering what are the chances of that happening? Thanks.
How come you didn’t get any of your options for accommodation.. I wanna go to Manchester next year but haven’t firmed by choices yet and can’t until March as I have an interview then.. will I probably not get my choices as I’m firming late?
It depends !! Mostly luck ngl but I applied super early for accomodation yet that didn’t make a difference , I know people that got in through clearing at the last moment and got unsworth which is the best one xx
Hi! I will be an international student in uoM next Fall 2021 from Spain, what accommodations would you recommend for internacional students? Love your video!
Thank youu , any of the accommodations in Fallowfield are the most social where you a likely to meet the most people yet there are usually international students in Victoria park or city too x
Holaa!
I didn’t have to go through any process just find somewhere suitable , but I’m currently filming a video where I will go into more depth and explain a bit better🤣x
Hmmm it’s still good , it’s just all my friends from UoM live further away from me , but if I could have chosen I would have gone for fallowfield for sure xx
Hi, I’ve been watching some videos on general accommodation in manc and there’s a girl in this video who stayed in a homes for students accommodation :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EdTbvPSt8NY.html
Yeahhh I mean it all depends on what modules you do and each lecturer has their own method for explaining , but so far the ones I have chosen in bioscience have been extremely good at explaining and make the lectures very engaging and understanding x
