I will be filming a Warwick Q+A/assumptions video in the near future so please leave any questions or assumptions you have under this comment! 😁 thank you and hope you're having a great day
Since life became hectic and I never got round to filming the video, here is my opinion in case you are still interested 😅 It can definitely feel like a bubble at times but the social life is truly what you make of it. There are plenty of people who love going out all the time (there are places on campus and in the surrounding areas) and there are those who prefer a quieter social life. I think it all depends on what you like and who you hang out with!
Do you know about English literature and creative writing BA? I want to apply this faculty next year but lack of information. Thanks for your useful videao and hope you answer me in the forseeable future.
Hi, sorry unfortunately I don't know much about that but if you have a look online there should be some names that you could reach out to in the department! Professors are more than happy to answer any questions from prospective students! Also it would be great to attend an open day if possible ☺️
Hi Simona, you have really helped me in getting a taste of what they uni is like. Do you have any tips to prepare to study biomedical sciences at Warwick? Any books?
I work on campus and this was a very thorough and accurate tour of the central campus. The large red building opposite The Oculus, under construction, is the new Faculty of Arts building and will be the replacement for the Humanities building. The old Sports Centre is now called The Junction and will be teaching and postgraduate study space and will also be used for exams.
This is one of the best campus tour videos of Warwick I've seen here. I applied for a masters there, so I've been doing some research about campus and accomodation. One I liked wasn't in the video though, it's called Cryfield, but I really liked the tour! The geese and ducks were my favourite part lol. Thank you very much!
This is so helpful thank you so much! I’m thinking about applying for a masters at Warwick, do you know if it’s the same buildings etc for postgrads? That rocket man looks like it would eat into my budget in no time!
Ooo good luck if you do apply!! I believe it is pretty much the same buildings (plus a few that are specifically for postgrads) but it may depend slightly on your course. And yes, the sports centre is literally huuuge 😄
I'm not too sure about the course as I don't know anyone who studies it but I can see it is taught in the department of Life Sciences which is the department I am at! The department is great, all the staff are super helpful so I would highly recommend. I would recommend contacting someone in the department if you have more specific questions about the course ☺️
Hi! It's getting much better, people are now allowed back onto campus. The plans for autumn haven't been released yet but I am hopeful for some sort of normality and not just online learning like it was this year 🥲
Hi! From what I've heard, Warwick is a great place to do a PhD! For biotechnology you will most likely be based at the School of Life Sciences or in the Department of Chemistry. If you are looking for a project, I think it is a good idea to look on the department websites to see what research is going on and then you can reach out to some academics! Hope this helps and good luck 😁
