UniverSoul Circus performs this week in Brooklyn and then for 3 weeks in Queens. Joining us to talk about it all is the Ringmaster Lucky Malatsi, who's been with the circus from the very beginning in 1994. Lucky was born in Pretoria and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. At 25 years old, after 14 years with UniverSoul, he brings new meaning to the term, multi-talented, having been an acrobatic hip hop dancer, gymnast, trapeze artist, teeterboard, trampoline and acro-dunking with basketballs
Here, he introduces us to the Bonebreakers, an extraordinary group of contortionists that bend and contort into every angle imaginable - this, you HAVE to see!
(The Bonbreakers are comprised of Mohamed Bangoura, Alhassane Keita, Souleymane Soumah, Norbert Tonguino, Irma van Riemsdijk, Alan Miller)
