We just had one. Turdo made the vote on the emergency act one. He told everyone if you vote against it, you will be voting against the government and we will go to an election. Many Liberal and NDP MPs were going to vote against it because they aren't horrible people, but chose to hang on to their seat, rather than serve the public. I have thought for some time that there is a problem with mp’s having to tow the party line. We vote them in but they don’t represent the people just like this vote, it was what Trudeau wanted and he pushed it through. I don’t know a good solution but it’s a bogus democracy.
So long as there is a Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the SYSTEM is just fine. Trudeau is the problem. In fact, there’s nothing inherently wrong with the Emergencies Act (if you actually read it). The problem isn’t the Act, it’s Trudeau. @@AdmoreMethod I never meant to imply a complete system should be taken down, my call is not to challenge entire governments, but specific systems within government: I do not understand the reasoning behind having laws that require a threshold and then still being able to use those laws without thresholds being met. That system right there, I fail to see how that's not broken. The whole idea behind a system is that it's fool proof. Like say an emergency act: make it so that it needs a 80% vote before it can be declared... in times where you would really need the war measures's act, like in times of war, an 80% would be an easy thing to get. The whole point of a broken system is that broken people can use it in dumb ways. A fixed system is where broken people can no longer abuse a system... in that way I perceive it as being broken. Unless there are borderline conditions where it would make sense to enforce a law with thresholds, when thresholds are not met, but with my current understanding, I can not come up with a single cause where that would make sense, as each and every of that condition should be engraved in the thresholds itself. Anyone, if someone can enlighten me about why that could make sense, I'm all ears.

I am a Canadian with dual citizenship as they were involved in this act I went down to the bank and I moved all my money overseas as I have an account in Ireland to I transferred just about everything and it won’t be coming back either not a chance banks can not protect your money in Canada. If you were a person and you don’t have dual citizenship you could drive down into the states and set up a non-resident account at least this way some of your money would be protected.

The trick by Governments was to introduce the tyranny in small increments over many years until they had enough power and means to set armed thugs upon their own people and still have many fools blindly support them. Mandates are not laws. They are directives issued as part of an emergency action. Nobody is under any obligation to obey them. Especially if, as now, there is in fact no ongoing emergency.
The power of manipulation being weilded today through this safety cult is nightmarish indeed. Certainly not enough to suspend the Emergencies Act or revoking the Act. Serious investigation is and report by objective non partisan body is absolutely warranted. We have many questions not only about this convoy but the whole covid related policies and mandates.

If you remove the light switch the flow has been ended. the emergency act use has not ended, only temporarily suspended.
