@williammiller3277 that's true but personally I am fine with even a fat chubby woman being portrayed as a protagonist. Problem is that's not how I imagine someone named Haroona would look like. They are effing up the character portrayal.
all gamers of the world have come to a single criterion for evaluating games. if at any stage of creation the game was touched by someone from Sweet baby etc. you can immediately throw it in the trash. if not, you can still play this game, it is not bad
@@slicksilver9441 Because gamers should stop destroying their own franchise by hating on the work of dozens of talented people because they blindly hate on a company that actually don't even know a thing about. People spend years on projects giving their best, just for some idiots to start mindless hate waves which are usually picked hip by influencers which earn by spreading it even further, with none ever doubting anything the happens. In the end jobs are lost, and people of this industry loose any interest to every do anything again here. The real losers are gamers in the end, with just another hundreds of people and games lost.
@@florianmotao3165 just because someone isn’t a NPC smooth brain, and doesn’t agree with all the diversity and clown mafia Crap doesn’t mean they’re for Trump bro….😂
lol well that’s not true considering everyone played God Of War Ragnarök. So let’s not say it’s because of that. It’s because the game doesn’t look fun
I’m going to do something revolutionary and either buy it or not buy it based on whether or not the actual game is good and not based on anything else.
Back in the day, games were judged by the quality of the product itself. Now, people want games to succeed or fail based on an inconsistent online discourse.
@@shemyaza8934 sbi didn’t develop the game, they aren’t game developers. you people call any game that doesn’t have a gary stu protagonist an sbi game and w0ke. and it’s not anti wh!te to want accurate population representation. wh!te people are literally only fifteen percent of the world’s population.
@@DangerZONEpixelEveryone knows that's not how it works. He is just pointing out how it doesn't apply to anyone else watching the videos. No one is going to buy this game judging from the comments. And this is usually true when someone has the energy to type a comment there is a high chance they will probably act like so as well. This video only applies to the author. The game screams mediocrity and something I wouldn't even play even given for free.
Just gona sit here, get some tasty food and snacks, some cold drinks and I will watch this whole thing burn, the drama is more entertaimind......AND FREE
@@Airhockey3000 earthbound was a failure and now it’s considered one of the best games ever made. hmm, it’s almost like quality isn’t determined by how well something sells 😮
Looks like a PS3 game, but with DEI for the modern audience. Another bomb. No idea what the game market looks like in India, so maybe it could explode there.
Certainly looks like trash. My wallet remains closed when I smell any activist involvement. I don't even care if the game is amazing, I'll not be purchasing.
I know there is a google, there we could also find all of the information in this video. My point is, is it so hard to mention the release date in the beginning of the video?
It’s nice that you guys cover these doomed video games. Even if it does get totally BTFO it’s cool that you’re able to ignore that and still cover them.
Definitely grabbing this one! Looks cool but I’ve had a couple spiritual awakenings over the past 15 years which opened me up to different things so I can appreciate this on a different level. 😎
Yeah, it makes me so mad you can’t even trust reviewers anymore if a game has any of the LGBT crap in it they are automatically going to give it a high score just like I guarantee you dragon age Vail guard is going to win game of the year
@@robslams2324 you think that's why Baldur's gate got Goty? Wow, i feel so sorry for you. It seems that bigotry made you miss out on some great games.
This game looks pretty, I think I'll give it a chance. It costs 50 euros. I also liked Forspoken despite the negative reviews, and I think Jedi Survivor was overrated.
No what we want is a pile of tourist scalps big enough to dive into like scrooge mcduck. "Female protagonist" wasn't a red flag for Lara Croft, Samus Aran, or any other character until these consultants got involved.
We're living under a new form of the Hays Code as it is. Some Korean studios are fighting against it, but that's about it. Microsoft, Sony, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, etc., all enforce these rules, as do most major retailers and media outlets.
Considering this game has never had a generally positive reception to its gameplay, its advertisement campaign has been people in bad cos play talking into a camera, and involvement of a certain outside consulting company are spelling disaster for this game.
If you step into an enemies body and attack another enemy will it cause them to start fighting each other? kind of like beserk darts from assassins creed? that would be really fun and useful
The Stepping abilities remind me of Giest from the NGC. Neat! I'm definitely not going for this day 1, but it def looks like something that will be on sale during the holidays.
Seems cool. A bit like a mix of Dishonored and (criminally underrated) Banishers. Not sure which rage-farming grifter started the avalanche of toxicity towards this game, but clearly there's nothing wrong with the gameplay or the story. Personally I'm sick of live service, online-only, grindfest games. So a decent AA single player game, with a cool story and interesting gameplay would be a nice change.
@@gregweisal5542 and you got that from some rando on twitter or some rage-farmer ranting on yt? (Since there's nothing about it on sbi page or unknown 9).
@@landonewts The lack of engagement and buzz around the game is the first clue. And the overwhelmingly negative response to the trailers is another clue. Also, history has shown that almost all games Sweet Baby Inc has worked on have tanked financially. Informed consumers are boycotting activist products, and it's crashing the developers. It's so amazing :)
Yeah, I don't give my money to games that have been touched by Sweet Baby Inc. But hey, un-woke Black Myth: Wukong made USD 700-800 million in revenue within weeks of launch, so, that's cool.
@@randalthor6872 ok they that bad? I don't know to much about gaming companies fareal fareal just look like a game I might try. Just trying expand my game genre instead of playing shooting game's all the time.
@@mistamista_693 Please don't fall for the incel culture phenomenon. There is a whole segment of the game community that has made it their sole purpose in life to hate any game with a non white hetrosexual male protagonist. This is a smaller game, not likely to be on most people's radar. It has a cool premise but not very much is known about the studio making the game nor about the games potential to be good or bad. I suggest doing your homework before commiting to buy it and to seek reviews from people who you trust who aren't gonna preach hate views to you about how bad Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is. None of these things determine if a game is good or bad.... gameplay, story and whether ir not you find the game interesting is gonna matter much more to you than the color of skin or sex or sexuality of the main character. Hope this helps.
@@corey_massey u right I appreciate your opinion and that's all really matter too me if I like the game or not. I don't care if it's a male character or a female character the character can be purple for all I care.
I cant purchase this game ... I dont feel seen as a "non-buy-nary" person... Which of course means I identify as someone that only spends money on good media...
Has any of you fine woke people tried this game or Flintlock? Flintlock is sweet and if you don't know anything about this game it's better not to say anything at all just saying! Amazing now days how much hate in the world today before a game even comes out! I remember back in the day we ran to game store got it or didn't.
To be honest, this looks incredibly uninspired and uninteresting. The stages and world look like copy and past stages from other games. Nothing looks interesting or give that feeling of wanting to explore. The gameplay also look like different mechanics from other games like Infamous, Neir and Tomb Raider. The character design looks very meh.
Got this game "reserved" from an AMD reward thingy when i purchased a ryzen 7 7800x3d. I must say looking at some gameplay that i will probably never install it, what a waste
How is a game set in India with a protagonist that looks like people from India woke? I just don't get it. Not in this case. Maybe there's an argument made to be made for other games, but I just don't see it here. It's a game set in India. Can you elaborate? I'm more than willing to hear you out.
@@blacksailsfan4life Look, I've got nothing against diversity done right, we've got Ellen Ripley, Sarah Connor, Leia Organa, Lara Croft, Mizu from Blue Eye Samurai, 2B from Nier Automata etc.- to name just a few - to validate that. BUT nowadays the market is overwhelmed with 'diverse' characters in infeasible roles, implemented just for the sake of...diversity. That's what bothers me.
