[Unknown 关于未知的我们] Wei Qian (Chris Chiu) has been the breadwinner of his family since he lost his parents at a young age. Besides providing for his biological little sister, Wei Lili (Tammy Lin), he has also adopted Wei Zhiyuan (Kurt Huang) as his little brother. Wei Qian puts his life at risk and works illegally to support his siblings. Luckily, his childhood buddy, Sanpang (Kimkim), gets him back on the right path. As life gradually falls into place, Yuan admits that he likes Wei Qian and forcibly kisses him. Overwhelmed with anger, Wei Qian sends Yuan abroad. Yet, Wei Qian feels as if something is missing. In this whole episode, Qian's character hits me differently. The way his face drops when Yuan gives him honey water very last, even you can sense the disappointment in his eyes when Yuan behaves a little cold towards him at the dinner table and in the bedroom. He was not angry when he came to know about Lily and San Pang's relationship rather he was hurt that he was the last one to know about it, and he felt left out. Because of his behaviour, everyone misjudges him by thinking he has some problem with their relationship or love in general but that's not the case. The thing is he is scared of these things, he is not used to those things being taken care of by others, being loved by others, or someone being cringe at him because he lived his entire life like this he carries childhood trauma which was not healed yet, apart from the trauma and abuse, he needs to work hard for his family this man never know what a parents love is, there was no one to protect him till a certain age he was just alone fight with this damn world that is how his past trauma and wounds remain unhealed and little by little he creates a wall around him might unknowingly that is how he tends to push people away from him even he wants them to stay with him. He just needs someone to break the wall around him with love and compassion and that is what exactly our Yuan doing. But I can guarantee one thing when people like Qian love someone they love the hardest. They can go to any extent for their loved ones cause they truly know the meaning of the word "LOVE" and how precious it is to be loved by someone.

Qian is hell nervous in this episode whenever yuan comes close to him because he can't handle his brother's intimidating gaze☺️. To all the future viewers this is for you guys : throughout the whole series yuan has been calling "ge" ( meaning elder brother) and not "QIAN" but through out the series they made it look like yuan was calling his brother by his name which I don't know why they purposefully did that 😣.Hope this helps 🙂.

Absolutely loved this episode. Episode 8 is like a little push and the beginning of eye opener for Qian. He slowly starts to realise and accept the change that happened in people close to him! Also starts to recognise the change of emotions for Yuan that are surging in him! Next episode is going to be the breaking point I guess! Don't let our babies suffer much please 😘😘😘

I watch scenes twice or thrice first for the subs the second and third for the facial expressions, and Yuchen does this show JUSTICE! I love his eyes, his everything, how he LIVES this character Qian. Yuan is MATURED. Mentally AND emotionally. I love to see it. America was good for him. Now let it begin. San Pang San Pang SAN PANG!! I cannot. And I am with Qian on the issue of lili and san pang's relationship.

I love how this series has so many details that you really get so immersed in it, seeing the beauty and how the screenwriters really thought of every aspect, it’s a well thought out series. Yuan has shown so much maturity with his return and he has changed as a person, he’s showing the best version of himself and he wants Qian to see the man he has become, because he has indeed grown up, and when he asked, “Ge, have you ever thought that we can’t accept changes because we’re so used to the way things were?” 13:06 it’s because he’s aware that Qian is still seeing Lili as a little girl he has to shield from the world and that he sees him as that little boy he is always trying to protect, so it’s up to Qian to see that everything/everyone around him has changed, especially their relationship and the highlight of this episode is Yuan calling Qian by his name and not just Ge as he’s used to, as the man himself is used to hear, and you can see that Qian reacted with that changed in their dynamic 13:41 it felt different for Qian and he even followed the boy but didn’t dare to go for more 14:00 as he’s still adamantly fighting against that change. Another thing is that Yuan, even with so much confidence he’s oozing while invading the man personal space 20:29 (that boy is mastering his flirting skills with his Ge) and going for more but pretending he’s not 20:35 while getting so close 18:10 that smug smile 18:23 while staring right into Qian’s eyes and his soul 26:59 he’s not going to force this love, which is why he asked Qian if he likes him, even if he can feel the man feels something but he’s holding himself back, he’s not entitled and something I love is that he really showed how selfless is his love, how he’s irrevocably and unconditionally in love with Qian and he has changed his mentality in their time apart, letting Qian know that he wouldn’t go crazy if the man finds someone else, gets married and has kids, he just wants Qian to be happy and he wants to be around him, that’s enough for Yuan 29:10 he also called the man by his name again 29:40 andm he even called himself by his own name 29:43 as he wants Qian to see them as two men that can fall in love not just as two brothers and he holds Qian with so much care 29:59 gently caress his skin 30:03 as he wants to know if he doesn’t accept what’s happening between them because he doesn’t want it or because he doesn’t dare 30:05 and once again, he’s letting Qian decide, he’s not forcing this, it’s up to Qian to accept this love for what it is. Man this series has no business being this good. I mean, the details, the dialogues, I’m so in love with it and we are gonna suffer next episode, never trust a calm episode as a storm is coming 😭 one of the best series ever 💗 “Because he didn’t give birth to you, but he adopted me” 24:48 that took me out, the way I cackled and the diaper comment, Yuan is a born comedian 😂

@@user-vb8iq1bs2v That’s why I can appreciate this series more, because I know what it means. I have been highlighting that in other comments and how they are wrong for translating it to “Qian”. Both Yuan and Lili call him Ge as he’s the older brother, but they always put “Qian” instead of translating it to just “brother” if they want as we know that he’s the older brother. That’s the worst mistake, it’s like putting a name every time a character calls another hyung for a K-BL and there will be a story with a character waiting for the other to call him hyung, so if the translation is not right, there’s something missing in the story. The change from Ge to Qian is important as Yuan is allowing himself to call the man just by his name and he did it twice, which I highlighted in my original comment.
