Here's another mystery: I found this at a thrift store and it was cheap so I grabbed it. I wanted to pass it because the people who donated it cut the fan's leads when they took the fan down. There is no brand marking and what could have been a sticker indicating brand information was peeled off. All that is in there is the information sticker and the UL sticker. The file number is E163438. I have several other Litex fans with that same file number so is this a Litex that could have been rebranded? I don't know. The fan is pretty cheap, it is also not in the best shape. Paint on the canopy, some spots on the blades, leads are clipped. It is not quiet by any means. Wobbles a bit due to the mounting situation and the warped blades. The arms are not bent, thankfully. The globe is a spare. I don't have any small schoolhouse globes on hand so I used what I have. Moves okay air for a cheap fan, but there are certainly better fans out there if you want a 42 inch hugger and cannot afford better fans. This fan is installed in my wo/storage room.
