Great video as as always. One question do we have to take any permission or something from authorities or just go to any forest and start camping. Also what about wild animals. How do you know a wild animal won't come shopping for dinner.
some places you dont need permission.... specially in north India there are lot of places to camp! Wild animal encounters are very rare.... but keep a Pepper Spray!
@@adventuresofandyjay I don't think spray would do much with a leopard or something like that.🤣 probably would make him angrier 😂🤣. But yeah I get what you are saying . 😊👍
Hey Andy, this is great work! How would you recommend a beginner to get started with exploring the western ghats? Are there any good guide books to follow?
If you’re starting out... the best way is to do it with someone who already knows this stuff! Or if you’ve budget u can book camping trip with any Outdoor company in your city. There is no guides as of now, but soon am dropping some more content... which is all about how one can start with their first hike or camping adventure! Western Ghats can be tricky cos most of the places are protected forest, but if do some research u’ll find few places to camp n hike, for example: Kumaraparvata trek, where you’ll trek to top & there’s a permission to camp at the foothills of the mountain!
