Yes to Isley Brothers. Footsteps in the Dark was part of my childhood. The jazz records, the Cumbia. I'm dying over here with these amazing selections. No wonder UMO is one of my favorite bands.

To the dude who picked the Dune record, ironically (or maybe coincidentally?), David Matthews's own Dune record contains a cover of Space Oddity from which the Rapp Snitch Knishes sample came. And that's David Matthews from the 70's not Dave Matthews from the 90's.

Rapp Snitch Knishes should be played at least once a day, minimum! In another interview, Ruban mentioned he ate a fuck load of bud while writing one morning. I wonder if the Doom album artwork inspired him maybe? Maybe it's the key to being a musical genius?

Aw, sucks you couldn't go. It was the best concert I've seen in my life, better than The Cure, and better than Depeche Mode (if you don't know them, look them up). Unknown Mortal Orchestra was spectacular. I hadn't heard much of them before the concert, but I really like them now.
