Yeah! I was one of those who suggested this! Such a great song, and even though I've heard it many times, I got chills all over again (on your behalf?) when you were experiencing those awesome notes Britney hits at the beginning of the song. I agree with you, Rich, about the oompah beat - there's a piece of the original track that didn't make it into the video where that sound is even more prominent and that's exactly what I thought of it, oompah. Loving the journey you two are on and it's reconnecting me with so much music that I love. Maybe your next stop with Unleash the Archers should be TEST YOUR METAL, more of a classic metal sound with Britney killing it yet again!
Nice!.Tyvm!! If you ever try a reaction on UNLEASH THE ARCHERS - Cleanse The Bloodlines (Official Video) Kel haves to watch the video. Slower tempo and more darkness into the song combines perfect with the story telling video... There are times you have to watch the video! Perhaps she did it during the editing time so it's cool... don't know. Keep on.
I normally have a prejudice towards newer music but this is so fucking metal. I can really feel an 80's influence in it. Other new bands that I somehow like are Children of Bodom and Necrogoblikon
Oh I didn't see you had done Awakening. Sweet I am going to go check it out now. Awesome thanks. They have a few other great videos to like Dreamcrusher, Cleanse the Bloodlines, and General of the Dark Army, if your interested.
You mentioned OVERKILL,an amazing Band....but also reminded me about another legend Band : MOTÖRHEAD!....see their Song OVERKILL (LIVE STAGE FRIGHT),filmed Live in my Hometown Düsseldorf/Germany....perfect Start for LEMMY,the ultimate Hero of Metal forever !
UTA's Apex is an incredible album full of great songs. My personal favorites are The Matriarch, Apex, Coward's Way. Awakening, as you know, is great as well.
I love you guys! I know I requested this on the last Unleash the Archers video, but you guys gotta do Kalmah - Heroes to Us. The vocals may not be your favorite, but the music is shreddy, melodic, and there's pinch harmonics out the ass. #painintheask
This band is the current hotness and the singer has vocal chops. Check out their most popular song Awakening. You both will love it. Thanks love your vids.
I think this was the first UTA song I heard. It kept popping up in my YT recommendations and I really didn't like it at the time. Now I love it, largely because Apex pulled me in and made me pay closer attention. I believe the band had a couple of new members come in whilst they were working on this album and they were all still getting used to each other so, by the time they got to writing and recording Apex, they were a lot more settled. I recall Brittney saying that Andrew Kingsley's arrival in particular pushed them towards a more 'traditional' heavy metal sound on Apex. I'm sure there will be UTA experts around who can confirm or deny this? Anyhoo, #painintheask Cellar Darling - Insomnia (#pennypennypenny) and because I'd love to see you react to more from Apex: Unleash The Archers - Apex Unleash The Archers - Cleanse The Bloodlines Although I'd love to see you do the whole Apex album, like you did with Scenes From A Memory and Operation: MindCrime. I think it would blow you away :) Also, I think you'd love this (to watch offline, not as a reaction): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-280DRqoGyLw.html
Hey, KnR! Got a couple of requests for you, if you like Unleash the Archers! They are: 1. Arion, At the Break of Dawn (featuring Elize Ryd of Amaranth) 2. Amaranth, Maximize and Invincible (2 different song titles) Love you guys reacting to this! DragonForce was, like, the last group that did this kind of fast, melodic metal -- Through the Fire and Flames, Operation Ground and Pound being two good tracks. I love how Brittney has that '80s ballad-style metal voice -- it's awesome.
#PAININTHEASK Song: Holy Thunderfoce Band: Rhapsody One of my requests needs to make it I drop all other reaction youtubers for you guys give me a chance
Really glad people are introducing you to some of the female fronted metal bands out there. Here are a couple of other Canadian bands with women on vocals. You guys are super enjoyable and you express your feelings about the music with such passion. #painintheask Kobra and the Lotus - 50 Shades of Evil ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YEpzKdQ1e2U.html The Order of Chaos - Night Terror ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--aBOVN7_LII.html
Man, I cant believe I had never heard this song. I'm going to have to listen to this entire album now start to fi 8ish. Persistence though right? #painintheask. PLEASE react to Guns N Rose's- Civil War the lyric video please.
Yeah, Brittney really slays the vocals. In most recent polls/rankings she's among the 10 best female metal vocalists, but Floor Jansen (After Forever, Ayreon, ReVamp, Northward & Nightwish) is still #1 in most of them & for me also.
Amazing Band, amazing female Singer, amazing MAD MAX THUNDERDOME Video, check out their QUEENSRYCHE/QUEEN OF THE REICH Cover Version.Brittney reaches the Geoff Tate Notes!
Another Canadian metal group is Archspire. Good songs to start with are Involuntary Doppelganger and Remote Tumor Seeker. Strap yourselves in for something completely different to what you've heard so far.
Haha, love the Carolina reaper analogy! Brittney Slayes was inspired by vocalist Daniel Heiman of Swedish power metal band Lost Horizon among others. I recommend checking out Lost Horizon - "Highlander (The One)" or "Welcome Back" . #painintheask
nice reaction guys hope your doing well can you reacto to frozen crown song name neverending its another female singer to hope you like them thanks have a good day guys

I hate power metal because it’s often so cheesy. But I love this band and have since Demons of the Astrowaste. Check out “General of the Dark Army” for an early UtA reaction (still great though). #painintheask You two are adorable, btw.
I don't know anything about production, but there's something that sounds empty, or hollow in this song to me. The album Apex sounds much better, and this song probably sounds great live, the singing is fantastic of course. Reminds me of Helloween overall. For my #painintheask I would recommend a Japanese band, Unlucky Morpheus, that I would say are in a similar genre of power metal. If you want a longer song Cadaver/Revadac is great, for a shorter introduction I would recommend Black Pentagram. There's a lot of great metal in Japan, sadly most of it doesn't make it big outside Japan, probably because of the lyrics usually being in Japanese (with the exception of Babymetal).
@@chrisbergsten1429 Yes exactly, the potential is absolutely there! The Japanese bands are a dangerous road to go down, especially once the Babymetal-brigade descends!
If you like powerful vocalists, check Yannis Papadopoulos covering "Ghost Love Score" by Nightwish...just incredible!: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nfZxu1aQzp8.html
