Hey guys!!! Its time to unleash the NEOCLASSICAL FURY with this sick A harmonic minor shred lick! I'm gonna show you one of my favorite patterns i use for easy shredding in the frilly shirt scale so loved by Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Romeo, Joe Stump, and other monster players, show you a sick lick i made using it, then give you some speed picking tips and tricks to turn you into an alternate picking machine. Only thing you need is a puffy shirt of your own!!!

Excellent pattern, haven't thought about that arrangement but I must admit it makes sense and your left hand will be thanking you. One thing though, that shirt really needs to be open to the waist so that all of those sweet golden chains can be rubbed in your face properly.

What pick are you using, and what pick(s) do you recommend? I remember a video some time ago (I forget which one) where you recommended the Edge Pickboy, and those are great! But I often see you using other picks... Thanks Uncle Ben!!!

That is exceptionally cool. SOOOO easy to play at speed (not the entire line yet, but 2 strings at a time....and sometimes 4). Sounds great. I'm not exactly sure where I'll use it (since I don't write) but if nothing else it will be something fun to play in music stores.....🤣

Hey Uncle! I've been playing off and on since '94 but I've never got that speed picking down. I notice I hold the pick between the thumb, first and second fingers... Is that a big deal? Should I start all over and change my pick grip to get faster speeds? Are there any speed players that hold the pick unorthodox? As always, such great content!!!

Excellent playing dude. You never cease to amaze. Is your pinky finger of your picking hand anchored anywhere? My earliest recollection was Mel Bay and keeping your little finger on the pick guard. That’s right…I ain’t no spring chicken.
