I really want to see X870E chipset in the project zero series. MSI, Gigabyte or Asus whoever comes up with that first, I will buy it though I like MSI but whoever is the first and fulfills my requirements for the motherboard, will get my money :) I want to upgrade to my PC to a futuristic clean PC with tons of modern features and great performance for at least 3-4 years.

No itx boards? I was holding out for an 800 series itx board and the 98003dx but both are looking like there is not need to wait.

Are there any imrpvements to this chipset that are worth while?

Thank you. We are living in 2024. BTF systems definitely need to become widespread. I have been collecting systems for years. I hate seeing cables on the front, now I am definitely waiting for the b870 micro atx btf motherboards to come out. I bought a Corsair 2500x btf case. I do not want to buy an Msi b650 project zero motherboard, the reason is the new micro atx motherboards. I'm waiting with respect.

AMD has the only option to run a video card at 16x and a Gen 5 M.2 without any loss of speed?

can i use a next gen GPU that is PCIe5, and use 2 gen5 ssd's and not have the performance cut in half? i want one 4TB gen5 ssd for OS and steam games and a separate gen5 ssd for pics, music and such files just storing things on occasion. please help, i haven't upgraded since 2017, i dont want to buy 2 gen5 ssd's and have all that performance cut in half or not be able to use.

Why are all motherboard are being release with only 3 plugs of audio? the industry in general seems to forgetting there are multiple channel/speaker audio on PCs, i just dont understand how a Goodlike.... a $1k mobo can also follow this trend.

Unimpressed with the features of these MSI boards. No power/reset buttons. No bios error code display. Shifting more of the connections to the rear side of the board to clean up the cable routing. Only godlike has 10 layers pcb.

Looks underwhelming, I was expecting an ACE to be announced. I hope they don’t skip the ACE for the z890 maybe that will help me decide to upgrade to zen 5 or arrow lake. Performance doesn’t matter to me I’m gpu limited and just looking for something that looks good and fits in a case.

So no ACE motherboard? I want a E-ATX but i aint got the ogd like $$$...

hate it, that the x870 is basicly a B850e. In conclusion the X870 Boards are way too expensive. I can get a X670E Mainboard for 250 Euro, the new X870E Mainboards are over 400 Euro. Way too expensive, when only thing what is diffrent is wifi 7 and USB4.

I bet this one is way over the recommended setting from intel

No ECLK on the Carbon now that the Ace is gone is disappointing. That was the only thing the X670E Carbon was missing to essentially be the "perfect" board for 7000X3D users.

Where is the MSI 870E ACE? My current X670E ACE is simply the best motherboard I have ever had in years and I would like to upgrade to an ACE.

So who ate the 5.1 analog audio outputs on these new boards? Disappointing change.
