I’m surprised Obsidian didn’t use a macuahuitl as a weapon. They’re wooden clubs that are embedded with actual obsidian blades. It’s a Meso-American ceremonial weapon.
I like the fact that meanwhile the enemies are just there accepting their death, i can imagine obsidian saying: **You are about to die of death** Meanwhile launching a flame weapon at them
Nah, I tested her out. Sadly, she is pretty weak and not worth using her attack don't even do 100 of damage. Just two attacks from Garnet, a single attack from Pearl and Lapis, two attacks from Bismuth, and 3 from Peridot do more damage than her.
@@shadowtheeggdog6020 Yeah, you can test it for yourself and see it, she is pretty disappointing honestly. It's cool that she is in the game but I was honestly hoping that she would be more powerful, I honestly hope they do an upgrade to boost her up and make her useful because I honestly don't find her useful, I much rather use a normal fusion or a special attack then use her.
@@jaclynjohnson9293 Buddy, I was changing my team, duh! You can only use 3 characters at a time since you can't change Steven, all I did was go to a stage with strong enemies, tested Obsidian on them, and even used her against the bosses. Then I did this again some extra times using the characters and changing the team every time I was done and I got this conclusion.
Oh really? That's kinda disappointing It would have been great if you needed them as references in the show but then I guess that everyone would just upgrade and use them so i can see why they did what they did in the game Maybe if they wouldn't have maked her so powerful but then people would be disappointed
Now that I think about it, Steven Universe’s director was smart with how she played the overpowered Obsidian. The first time we see them is when the gems are on a whole other planet with no lives or property to put at risk, and every enemy encounter after that either has the gems incapacitated or Steven Gidzillafied
And the best part about this is that you don't need all 4 of the main crystal gems in your party to do this. You just need a minimum (from my experience atleast) of only 1 of the main crystal gems besides steven to be in your party.
@@rikchu9243 Not really, she is pretty much weak I would say. It's more worth it to just use the normal fusions or the special attacks or just attack with the gems that they do more damage.
@@rikchu9243 I mean, in animation for her attack I agree on that, already on damage then Alexandrite do more. I honestly hope they do a simple update just give Obsidian some extra power like make her attack be 1 hit Ko to all the enemies and makes her take a lot of life from the bosses.
@@cristianovogt5586 On second thought we can't be 100% sure who does the most damage since the enemies and the gems' status are different in both games. But I do agree that they could increase Obsidian’s damage, load the bar twice and then spend everything needs to be very worthwhile, and most of the time.. it fails. (Unfortunately)
Funny, this is basically the Steven Universe games circleing back around to the beginning. In Attack the Light, the only fusion available was Alexandrite who was basically a heavy multi-hitting Limit Break and now we have Obsidian, a heavy multi-hitting Limit Break .
I think if they added Obsidian's roar that happened when she was (her climbing the leg of white diamond's ship?) and she roared/screamed- if they added that it'd add to the cutscene of obtaining her in battle :)
