Most Carp anglers who only need to charge phones and torches for the odd weekend will be absolutely fine with the much cheaper baby version. Go up a size and add a solar panel if you bring a tablet or laptop. But if you're going on an extended angling holiday and want to power stuff like portable fridges or a heater, you'll absolutely need something like this and probably a solar panel to top it up with. Jackery do good ones too.
With some of the gear you have for a weekend session this will not even be practical nor carting it round to some of the furthest spots on the lake I'm happy with my ridge monkey fits nicely in my backpack and will last
