Unleash the sizzling tone of the Hot Chicken™ pickups for modern country guitarists, available on the Seymour Duncan website:
Hot Chicken Tele® - www.seymourduncan.com/single-product/hot-chicken-tele
Hot Chicken Strat® - www.seymourduncan.com/single-product/hot-chicken-strat
For the modern country guitarist, vintage-spec pickups bring the tone but don’t always make the cut in this era of higher gain. What is essential is something that brings heat and versatility without the lower output and noise.
Hot Chicken™ Strat® and Tele® pickups were designed with the contemporary country guitarist in mind. Tailored for today’s high-gain demands, these noiseless Stack® pickups deliver searing hotness that will cut through any mix, while retaining old school character, clarity, and definition.
Whether laying down scorching leads or simmering rhythm licks, these pickups ensure fiery country tone without the vintage hum. Spice up your sound and taste the difference with Seymour Duncan’s Hot Chicken™ pickups, designed to satisfy even the most discerning appetite for tone and performance.
Strat® and Tele® are registered trademarks of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation with which Seymour Duncan is in no way affiliated.

These sound pretty good! Many years ago, I played on a songwriter demo using a Kramer “The Pacer” with Seymour Duncan Stacks in it, Hot Stack in the bridge, and it sounded not unlike these Hot Chicken pickups. On one of the songs, I played a fake steel part using the bridge pickup, a volume pedal, and a Randall RG80 amp, with an Ibanez compressor and a killer reverb from the studio engineer, and a lot of people who heard the demo thought it was actually a steel player on there. Nope-I can’t play pedal steel for anything, but I can fake it some on guitar.

Sounds great, i was looking for a single coil neck to replace the have a bit more juice than regular single coil, but not as much as the HotRail . This could get the tricks !!! And - Add the artist's link in your description could be nice for them for people give'em a listen after ! Cheers !

Even though these are made for country, these would be killer for alternative rock/Metalcore sound 🔥🔥

Hmm I didn’t hear any alternative rock or Metalcore in this Video. So that statement isn’t necessarily true.

Looking at this for a bridge pickup, what neck humbucker would be a good match? 59 maybe?

I have six stats ,five teles I hate the bridge pick up. I’m a blues player and it’s too quacky some of my Strats and teles have hum backing pickups.

So the Hot Chicken pickups does the compression and compressing the notes done how so? It just sounds like a stock overwound stacked pickup what is so special about the hot chicken pickups?

They're similar in many ways but like for an example, the Hot Chicken bridge pickup has a little more top end twang when compared to something like the SD Hot Stack bridge. Especially if you're looking for a noiseless Tele tone that has more of that true twang when using higher gain settings, I think the Hot Chicken is a good option. As for differentiating the sound of this when compared to other stacked pickups, honestly I don't think the audio in a YT video is really doing it justice to clearly determine the differences.

Why are so many people talking over the damn demo!!! I’m trying to listen to the pickups, I’ll make up my own mind about what is goi on, I don’t need so many people explaining what’s going on with the pickups. Thanks

I guess just for the strat. Should at least be available for the tele.
