For those like my self who didn't know what the star meant . ~ They are specifically BMW Star Marked Tyres are precisely matched with specific chassis components and electronic regulation systems, they also have run flats built in and longer lasting dread depth. the more you know :) that Porsche gt3 is gorgeous in the mirror !

The more clips I watch featuring the G87 M2 the more impressed I am by it, its a car that punches well above its weight it can even worry a GT3 R/S in the right hands great swan song for the M2
Amazing to see how close a stock M2 gets to the GT3 ring taxi, particularly under acceleration. Obviously when aero comes into play the GT is on another level!
@vollcare4076 we never did. We said for a taxi operation back in 2022 with limited supply chain it was an impossible task. And YES consumables for that car are very expensive, if you have the budget to run it, it's definitely a great car.
I've loved it since the start. I'd paint the bottom lip to match the car, but otherwise, it's fantastic. Since Chris Harris changed his mind, I'm sold.
The G87 M2 is another fine example (in my eyes) for the „change of liking“, because at first glance (when I saw the first pictures of it) I was like 😧🤮 and after seeing the car a few times live and having walked around it for a few minutes I was like 😍 And the car itself seems to be pretty quick, if the driver is capable of using the car‘s potential 😉 And of course, like Misha said, you can have a Porsche 911 GT3RS MR and this won’t help you in the conditions shown in this video… 😉 Thanks again to @Misha for this video, I appreciate it 🙏 Best wishes, Philipp 👋
Watching the GT3’s on this track reminds me of this time I was under the influence of LSD and my friend was on a longboard carving the street back and forth repetitively, it looked like he was teleporting from one side of the street to the next.. that is the GT3 on this track, pretty high praise if you ask me.
The new M2 isnt a looker for me, but the handling and power is far beyond the last model, judging from that lap, and misha showed that to full effect! Awesome lap!

actually, no; without the traffic, the gt3s would have dissapeared into the distance as they would have put small gaps on the straights and huge gaps in the corners.

You can clearly see both the Porsches only remain in sight BECAUSE of the yellows and lots of traffic, not the other way round. Misha benefits here from the Porsches clearing space
Hey Misha! Around 4:07 you talk about how the lowering springs negatively affect the handling of a car on track. From my limited knowledge, I would expect that they would benefit the car since they provide a lower centre of gravity, as well as stiffen up the suspension since there is less travel for the stock shocks. However, that being said, I am not an expert, just learning more about modifications so I would really appreciate your explanation on this! Thank you :)
watching Misha chase down a 992 gt3rs and gt3 was super satisfying imo lol G87 M2 is an awesome platform and my favorite aesthetically compared to the g80 and G82
It's not that bad.. It just takes time.. With 200-300 cars racing around the track at practically the same time theres things bound to happend at TF.. Attend a trackday or go of weekends when theres less traffic. 😄👍
As always, awesome driving & content Misha. Only thing I'd maybe improve is get a lav mike for the in-car narration. Other than that, great as always and love the cheeky smile of the owner, full confidence of car and driver!
It's really impressive how you are able to step on the gas so early into the corner. Sometimes even before the apex. How is that beneficial. Could you explain?

I am just thinking new M2 is interesting looking I don't love or hate how is looks. Anyway I am actually curious that, if Misha ever drove the Lexus RC F or GS F or both on this track❓️🤔 Would he want to try ❓️and will any owners willing let me try ❓️😂. Кажется что машине тяжело дается задний зацеп, по этому поршаки так ушли от нее, особенно в поворотах было видно как порш толи более устойчив то ли бмв борется со своим весом. Но Миша как всегда крут!
Manual doesn't seem to suit it and you can see BMW have given the auto crazy short gearing to make it pick up its feet- it's not compromised as it shifts so fast and has 8 ratios to give it big top gear still
