Good video-I do use satellite pictures when thre there is severe weather and I use the loop to see what u else is there besides the clouds forming-it’s real educational! 😊😊😊😊😊
Quick Question: I use satellite extensively but I am in the Northeast region primarily, and as such, drylines just aren’t as prominent as they are in the Southern Plains for example. When trying to identify a dry line on Satellite, what exactly is the “tell” ?? Is it the clear air behind it with a line of cumulus out in front of it in a linear fashion? I’m assuming that is what you’re looking for when identifying the dry line? Not located per-se as much as seeing what the upper flow is, though the presence of cirrus does indicate some sort of lift in the upper levels and they can sometimes preclude storm development!
