Happy Anniversary to you Brian and early Happy Father’s Day. We have an EGO which my wife loves. It can be persnickety. I mowed Monday and right out the gate the fully charged battery turned yellow. I clean all the contacts with contact cleaner at least twice. I called EGO and while on hold thought I’d try it again. It took off, go figure. Other than that it’s a great mower. It recharges in under 1/2 hour. I’m not opposed to looking at new options. My wife loves to mow early and doesn’t disturb anyone. I’m gonna look! I think your yard looked magnificent!

There definitely can be some obstacles! Like you, I have been impressed with some of the features like charging so quickly! And several other people mentioned the mowing early! It is nice, they are so lightly and quiet! Hope you’re having a great week man

Definitely! I think it will take a while for them to do electric that is big and rugged enough to do some of the lawns I tackle but honestly I was very impressed with this set up and how lightweight and easy it is to use! Hope you’re having a great week Deanna

Sue Wolfe- Badger seems like a good name for the mowing line!! My husband uses an electric mower, trimmer, and even snow blower and loves the quietness of it. Brian, we have a house we own in upstate SC. Got tired of hauling a mower up there. Wife bought me a Makita 36 volt self propelled bagger. Love it!!! Runs on 2 18 volt lithem 5 Amp hour batteries. Yard area is about 2500 square feet. It came with 4 batteries and 2 chargers that will charge all 4 batteries at same time. I bought a Weed eater, edger and a Bush trimmer . All of these came with same batteries as mower with 3 chargers. All of my yard equipment is Makita and love using them. Makes for a quick yard cleanup!!! Hope your doing well, and I'm loving retirement from design and maintenance. TAKE care!! Dean in SC

My ECO battery mower is very light. I have a 21" spread with power assist, which I very seldom use. I am 67 and I can lift it. I mulch and do not bag. The neatest thing is how quiet electric mowers, so you can do it in early morning to beat the heat!

Looks like it works really good on well manicured lawns. Not sure you would want to use it on some of the free cuts you do. lol. I agree. When you are used to using gas equipment, the power can be hard to beat, but I have been impressed with many of the new battery options!

We are shifting to battery power for some things. I like not having to deal with fuel and mixes. Equipment is much lighter and easier to handle.

Those are definitely the best reasons! I am impressed with how far battery powered equipment has come! And if you’re not careful with gas mixes, you can destroy gas powered equipment!

Down side to the hand-held tool and switching attachments is the need for the allen wrench to tighten. Those will get lost and would be a pain to keep track of. Surprised they didn't design it to "auto-secure". Everything seemed to work well though. Light weight is nice. Fine for small yards but 1/2 the population is out because mowing takes more than 1/2 an hour. Plus these types of batteries are catching fire and burning down houses/garages/sheds (I did a yard makeover this year for this very reason). I wouldn't risk my house for it personally. You did a very nice job with the video and testing the equipment. The product would likely serve a niche in the market.

Wow, I hadn’t realized that about the catching fire! Definitely something to be mindful about! Because yeah, that would really suck!! I’m surprised how many people have mentioned they are already using battery, powered mowers! And I agree, it’s always those little Allen wrenches and stuff!!
