This trooper is the kind of person we need in law enforcement. He used his position to help someone and made a huge difference in this student's life. Well done, sir.
@@artvandelay9483, the people asking "what country" and "where" should leave. I see Good officers everyday. People call 911 when they're in trouble, not Ghostbusters.
Even though there's a much larger conversation to be had on why it "shouldn't be", seeing an officer of the law both serve and protect is truly heartwarming!!
I was arrested for a DUI and actually thanked and thankful for the police officer who stopped me from ruining my life and possibly taking someone's. I shook his hand when we had court and thanked him. Man changed my life.
Exactly! I want a "peaceful" officer, not a "weak" one... "If you are capable of great harm but choose otherwise, you're peaceful. If you're incapable of harm, you're weak."
This was so my dad. He had such humanity and love especially for the down trodden. A marine and cop his entire life. Tough as nails but such a softy especially for unwanted kids like me. I love law enforcement but it's because of my dad and 2 detectives that saved me at 4.
We need more like him. He needs to go to LOUISIANA and train the whole DISGRACEFUL department. He needs to be a TROOPER trainer nationwide. The best story of a law enforcement officer.
I say "Great Job" to this Trooper! I honestly have no love for law enforcement due to what I have witnessed across this nation. I too am a Minnesota Native. Graduate of Highland Park Sr. High in St. Paul. I totally respect this Trooper and his actions. Semper Fi! USMC Retired.
These the police we need!! whatever race or nationality, jus as long as they good people.. then we could trust more if they words n actions... We understand sometimes u GOTTA put hands and, even pistols, sometimes on people.. but make it make sense is all we sayin💪🏿💯
Why do ppl drive drunk when they can get an Uber? So much cheaper than higher insurance rates, fines, penalties, lawyer's fees, and lawsuits. I dont get it
I grew up with 7 amazing sisters, no bro, my eldest sis met her future husband after he rear-ended her car, he stated despite the fact being 6ft6 almost 300lbs that when my sis jumped out of her car she immediately verbally went into him, and it was that precise moment he told himself that she was wife he's been looking for, I know absolutely crazy, 11yrs 4 kids later😳
My parents were killed by a drunk driver, so I don’t see why making friends with a drunk driver is making headlines🤦🏽♀️ All I can say is that I’m glad that the drunk drivers from this video didn’t kill anyone. Drunk drivers are a disgraceful disgusting shame. Fukn WOW
@@felix121984 thank you for saying that, I appreciate it💖 I was 17 when my parents were killed in 1997 and I can assure you that the devastation has been felt throughout all these years.
I hear you, I have police in the family and have heard enough horror stories about accidents/drunk drivers etc. to find it difficult to summon much sympathy for people who get loaded and then get behind the wheel. You can do the responsible thing and use a designated driver, stay with a friend nearby/have them drive you home etc.
10 til 1, had Jake been Jerome, it would be a different story. Jerome would be serving life, this guy look's like he knows how to play the game. I could be wrong but I doubt it
Have you read all the violent prior convictions of all the people arrested and charged in national news stories lately? They all have 4 or 5 violent crimes with little or no jail time. Hell , Look up Jordan Neelys.
Christians are no less fallible/human than secular people. He says he had a "few drinks", sounds like he was pretty loaded if he was swerving all over the road. He's lucky he didn't kill somebody. I'm guessing he told his parents he was "studying hard" while instead partying hard.
