This is a video about using IOLabs Flux to generate almost unlimited pattern variations with the Behringer RD-6 and TD-3. Flux is arguably the best trigger sequencer ever made. It allows you to set and move triggers within a grid in a not destructive way and without getting out of sync. Flux can make a high-performance-drummer rythm out of a simple 4-on-the-floor groove with just the turn of a knob.
Equipment: IOLabs Flux eurorack module, Behringer TD-3, Behringer RD-6, Strymon Nightsky reverb.

I love syncing stuff with random gates. Nice with the SQ 1. You can even put audio into the SQ 1 Sync in for interesting results. (Got that from an undulations video).

Yes, the SQ-1 is such a nice little fellow. 😃. Flux can bring any sync job to the next level. We are talking modulation of time, not just on/off values.

A very interesting concept, I dwelled on trigger movement for a long time. Unfortunately, I couldn´t spot what I´m looking for: The changes you did were quite drastic, leading to experimental things I can´t utilize in my kind of music. That not saying it´s not great in other context, quite the opposite. Which brings me to the question: If you just want nuances, so micro timings for single notes in a grid, can this be achieved as well? Think of things like: Just push this note a tiiiiiny bit of the grid to delay that slide. Or have a very light "swing" on the last 4 notes of a pattern. My concern is, that this would use 1% of the pot range and be very hard to dial in. Ideally, the ranges could be switched between coarse/medium/fine or something. What´s your take on that?

As you said, some changes are quite drastic. I was just applying too much modulation, so finer or subtler changes are not problem, too. The macro pot range of modulation can be defined for each destination. So, if a parameter like Humanise can go from 0 to 127, you can decide how much of that range is controlled by turning the knob: from 1 to 127. Knobs con go to multiple to multiple parameters to multiple channels with different depth per parameter/channel, an even more to only some of the steps or all steps, since there are four modulations busses and you can assign every single step to be controlled to one or some of the modulation busses. It’s crazy powerful. Answering your question, if you want to modulate only the last four notes of a pattern, you just assign those four notes to one of the four modulation busses.
