Buffalo have wings. I was a milk hauler when I first started driving in Georgia and the truck a R Model one stack Mack with a window in the back didn’t have ac. It was fun in the Summer at the dairy farms. The things we did for a pay check back in the old days.

Thanks for sharing 👍🏻. I for one like the electric window idea. They are easy to install & easy to fix/replace the motor, they are slow to decend in the cold 🥶. Great unloading of the 6X6 , l was ready for that crash sound with the reving of the loader engine along with broken glass sound ! Good thing it was a four wheel steer loader, he turned into it and, The rest is history ! As the saying goes. Thanks for sharing Steve !

I know from watching Ron Pratt that cage bolts are used to retract the brake shoes without having air. Normally truck brakes are failsafe, meaning that if you lose air pressure, the brakes will apply and you'll come to a quick stop. If you want to tow a derelict truck and you don't have air pressure - you put the cage bolts in to keep the brakes released. Disconnecting the drivetrain from the transmission is also routine since dragging the truck even a few feet with an automatic transmission will ruin the transmission.

Never seen a piece of equipment get unloaded off an RGN before. I’ve winched them on. Guy was some kind of operator. Must have done it a few times before. When you get your new gauges are you going old style or new digital. You do put out some great videos. Thanks for all your hard work at putting these videos on your channel. Every day is a school day, great way to unload a non working vehicle, full kudos to the wheel loader guy, certainly not messing around. didn't take long to decimate the Bison, even used the bones for knives handles. Great video Steve, thanks for sharing.

I rolled down the drivers side electric window on my Jetta, and it stuck down. It soon began to rain. Needless to say I was NOT a happy camper. Turned out to be an intermittent electrical connection in the controls. What a PITA it was to open it up to get at all the connections. I gave all the pins a good coating of Stabilant 22, and it's been fine since.

When you were unhitching the front binders and your head was tilted looking under the truck . My head was tilting with you . Then i laughed knowing what i just did . Retirement is good .Edit to add . Bison have the large hump on their back and bigger heads than buffalo .

As far as i know Bison are what we have in America. Buffalo are like water buffalo or cape buffalo are from like Africa and Asia. The weird species i've heard people raise here they call them beefalo which is a bison-cow cross. I had old coworker back in the day that trashed the whole passenger side of a company truck. It was mashed in and drug dow the side of the bridge. It was a axle grind on a skateboard, but down the side of the truck. His official story was a bee or wasp flew in his window, but later he mentioned he dropped his cigerette and was trying to grab it before it burnt the interior. Our company had a strict no smoking in company trucks policy.

Orwell sounds good thundering down the road. I hate my trips back to Pa when leaving the southern states. Nice comfortable weather sunny skies back to depressing overcast and temperatures. Not to mention the road salt. Can't wait to permanently relocate south.

Hey Steve! That was crazy unloading that Oshkosh! I thought it was going to start rolling when you loosened the last chain. It’s always easier unloading them than loading like everything. Lol! Not wanting to rub your fur the wrong way but I know you have a sore spot about the rusty rim but hear me out. After seeing it close when you were unloading, that rust looks deep in some spots. Just be careful because those seams that are welded might begin to leak very slowly and tracking it down is difficult. Between the salt and that brine they put down on the roads it keeps guys with shops like “watch Wes a work” and “south main auto repair” where they battle rust living in the rust belt. Lol!! Keep those wheels turning. Hope to see you at the truck show! Just watching out for ya brother.

On the buffalo topic: there were also cow buffalo thing in europe, called tauras in my country. It is so extintct that nobody knows how it looked really. We also had bison thing stumbras, they almost got extint, now common sight is some places due to the restoration program efforts. But tauras is in a lot of names actually and we cant even be sure how they looked (old tv models, in city symbols, in language phrases)

Buffalo are beardless while bison have thick beards. Also, bison horns are shorter and sharper than buffalo. Buffalo horns have been known to reach up to 6 feet in length Bison have a hump at the shoulders where buffalo don't.

Is this trip during that snow on Thursday/Friday the 9-10th? I spent Thursday night at that Marathon in Francis Creek (I-43 exit 157), made a delivery in Green Bay late Friday morning and went back to my companies yard in Chicago. Have you been to the Petro on I-94 just south of Milwaukee? It's got paid parking if your there more than 2 hours but there's a bunch of food and a really nice bar upstairs. I had the Friday Cod-fish dinner (delivered to my table by troly) from the Airstream trailer with the chicken restaurant built into it, sorta odd to see an Airstream inside a truck-stop but the food was quite good.

You need the best fly swatter on the planet it's called a bug a salt gun they make a pistol version which would be good for in a truck you would just have to clean up some salt but they are fun look it up ace hardware sells them around my parts
