No, you dont have to leave it in. You can remove it after the coding. On the app, you hvae the disconnect option, click on it and then remove the device Thanks for liking and subscribing
Good device but pay credits to use your own cars features? OBD devices, hardware only, are usually sold for $5 to $10. This one is over $60 and you have to keep buying credits on top of that.
Get real! I have a cheap OBD scanner.. cheap entry level scanners have no ability to do any of these features.. (mostly just engine check light fault clearing). You need to pay a lot of money for a scanner that can access these features (like VCDS and you pay more for every extra vehicle you use it on!) Even with VCDS you need the knowledge to do long adaptation codes; mess that up and you're in big trouble, and for far more money than this system costs! you pays your money and take your choice. Also our local VW garage want to charge £75 just to run a diagnostic.. if you want them to change a setting as well.. god only knows how much.
Helpful video. I'd like to increase to temperature of my heated steering wheel. In the App Tour section of your video 4:59, there is an icon of a steering wheel. Is that where I would make the change? Looks like yours is greyed out.
I dont have this car so I cant check the specific features for your countryman model. But I dont think it would require a lot of credit, its a basic feature
@@MinistryReviewsSchaz check out Carista.. I only know this name because it is mentioned in the same conversations as OBDEleven. I don't have personal experience of it myself but is respected apparently. I bought OBD Eleven and trying out.. pleased with diagnostics alone
@@aquibislam9225 Hi.. I'm pleased with the OBD Eleven.. I have fitted a few parts (having paid a Pro subscription just once and saved a lot of money over VW charges.. You need the pro sub to alter settings like Battery adaptation. I got a better battery than VW wanted to fit and didn't have to pay their exorbitant coding charge either. Their coding charge was more than the year's Pro licence! My better battery was a lot cheaper too.
