Wat u gotta do is turn it on if it’s off then turn ur phone all the way off then wait a bit then turn it on but before u put the charger in get some toilet paper then clean it out then try too charge it because it worked for me

I mean mine sometimes tells that Accessories thing and sometimes it don’t say anything I have done all the tips but I have to wait till it’s zero percent to charge it and it even sometimes not work

Please I hope I’m not late but this is what I did. When the notification pops up all you have to do is unlock your phone: go to settings: click Touch ID and Passcode (I think it’s like that?): scroll down a bit and you’ll see USB accessories: turn it on and it’s fixed :))

Yeh not propely inputting your charger is one cause.

I just went to settings, passcodes, entered my passcode and then turned on usb accessories "UNLOCK IPHONE TO ALLOW USB ACCESSORIES TO CONNECT WHEN IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN AN HOUR SINCE YOUR IPHONE WAS LOCKED" I sleep with my phone charging because my phone is playing while I sleep. The bright light kept waking me up when that message would popped up. I didn't have a problem with my phone charging... that's why this video didn't help me - so I had to look a little deeper myself. I hope that helps good luck!

but my follow up question. it can charge when you have low battery percentage like 1% then it charges again? because it does not charge when you are in the middle of the battery percentage. thank you for answering in advance!

Device may need to me unlocked as u input a sim that’s not compatible.

I have gone through so many cables, due to this problem, my phone charges no problems then, I notice my battery is low, so I plug it in, and I get the unlock iPhone to access accessories message, and that is it for my cable, I have not found a solution yet to resolve this. The charger (like a USB plug) is no issues, its just the cables. Now, you may say, oh your cable maybe faulty, but it works on my iPad, my mums iPhone, iPad, my nieces learning iPad, her personal iPad (kept at different address), with my sisters iPhone, and iPads as well as past half broken phones. This seems to only be my iPhone, but rarely one of the other devices will say this too. My phone is always locked when I get this message, and yes the setting via passcode etc section has the accessories set to off. I have yet another cable that this is happening to, and its my last cable too. The hunt for a fix continues

None of my chargers are the issue. They work on my phone, not my ipad. Even though they are apple and came with it originally.
