This is a tutorial on the easiest quickest way to cut the green wire on the Sur Ron light-bee to bypass the governor and unlock the full speed of the bike! Only takes a few minutes and is totally worth it!!!
I just got the switch for the headlight that I’m gonna do a video on. I was considering finding a switch for the wire I cut but discovered it’s pretty much the same as the eco switch that comes on the bike. Do you think it’ll be drastically different?
Isn’t that what the eco/sport mode switch does that comes with the bike? Do you think there will be a different outcome of putting a switch on the wire we cut?
@@SurRonSender - I agree. The sport mode puts it back to 28 mph. I'm not sure why a cop would care if you have the switch on or off. I'm not installing any switch.
I’ve heard of this happening before and that’s the actual grounding wire but I believe there is more than one means to grounding the bike so I would try to heat shrink it back together if possible but I’ve heard of other people doing this and it still works fine without it. It is very annoying they didn’t make it a different color. You should be good tho!
Try to reconnect it or take some of the wire from the one you’re actually supposed to cut and use that wire to make a jumper and twist it/heat shrink it really good
@@27ooze I bought the surron 2023 light bee road legal. I can't find the green loop wire. Jus one green wire connected to the female plug connector along with the other colored wires
I haven’t upgraded my battery but I would not cut anything when you get the new controller. They are made to be programmed by an app to adjust speed and all those things.
@@Draxzydepends on how much u weigh. But on an avg human weight its around 30mph stock on eco and sport mode. But around 50mph if u cut the wire and use sport mode.
@@rozzi235 works every single time on mine. When you turn the key , wait until all the lights go out an PO or E3 pops up the screen. At this point you 5 times short and 1 time long hit the brake. CO pops up the screen and the limiter is off 😊
Watch the video closely and you’ll see the right green wire has a loop in it when you cut back the black sheathing that’s protecting the wires. Then get to reconnect the one you cut, that’s the ground wire.
