Super cool device! My only concern is once removed, does it leave any evidence (footprint) that it was ever there? If yes, it will allow Jeep to void your warranty. My new '23 Jeep Rubcon has a 10 year 125,000 mile zero deductible warranty that I'm not willing to risk. Same thing with my '22 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320, which is why I won't tune it... Oh BTW, happy birthday!
Thanks! And no footprint left behind that’s why you have the unmarry option. It saves all setting the way they were before you plugged it in and it goes back to those setting once removed. I literally just came from doing an oil change at a dealer 10min ago and simply uninstalled it and put it back when I got home. No problem. I also have the 5 year warranty and I only take mine for oil changes to not void the warranty otherwise I’d do it myself
@Smokin Monkey Good to know, thanks brother! Once the three free oil changes are used I'll do my own servicing like I've always done. Just save the receipts and keep a log. I also have my oil analyzed on every change by Blackstone Labs.
I was gonna do that but with the dealers in Canada (I’ve been to 6 different ones) they will do and say anything to get out of warranty work so I’m gonna bite the bullet and do them at the dealer so they can’t say anything about it
glad you did this video explaining how it how it works, questions do you have to leave it plug in at all times for everything to work? if you got take the jeep to the dealer you got take it of?
Ya you do have to leave it plugged in. When you take it to the dealer just hit the ‘unmarry’ function and then unplug it. It won’t be traced and you can plug it back in after the service
