can you build your own system like that tho ? like Just that base ring and a 2-5 stop / cpl. I already have a Blackpro mist filter I already like so I would add that. I Also already have the Freewell VNDxMist 2-5 stop but it isnt compatible with that system right???

I have the Sony a1 and I want to buy some nd filters for my 50 mm GM but I want to buy the 70-200 lens, What do you recommend me to do? Should I buy the nd filters for the 70-200 and use the system you show here for my 50mm GM? will it work? or should I Buy it for my 50mm GM and buy the piece for the 70-200?

The first thing you need to do is to make sure that both lenses have filter threads and are able to mount circular filters ! Then, if both lenses allow to mount threaded circular filters, you need to check what is the filter thread diameter of each lens. Finally, after comparing the filter thread diameters of both lenses, I would recommend getting the filters which the filter thread diameter would fit on the bigger filter thread size lens. And then you would need to get step up rings for the lens that has a smaller filter thread size! I hope this helps! Thanks for watching
