Glad I found the other video before this one ... I hope nobody drilled their car .. you can use the positive connection in meet the bonnet/hood it will give you some power to open your tunk
Your car has a valet button in the centre glove box and if it's tripped it will disable lock and push button release. Press the button to off position and your key will open the trunk.
I think that’s what happened on my mercedes slk 250 i left my key in the trunk , security opened my car doors but center console and trunk won’t open and the valet mode is on and probably in the center console wonder if i should drill hole in my benz now 🤪
Your message”valet mode” remind me of a switch inside of cental console island arm rest cover. There is a valet parking switch. Maybe I can try to press the switch several times to release “valet mode”! Do you think so?
Worked for me, battery was only 1.62 volts... removed the license plate, drilled, pryed and it unlocked to put a charger on the battery, started and all works, only radio and other personal seating memories are gone. We have a runner again!
@@Damiansgarage holy crap dude just fixed I was freakinggg out, I was all night long fixing my moms car and for some mistake I left the keys in the trunk witht the battery disconnected, thank you so much I thought we were gonna have to pay so much money to fix it.
@@Damiansgarage so? connect a spare battery with starter cables to the fuse box in the engine bay and and a suitable ground next to it. that will give the car enough power to pop open the trunk. done it several times on my x300
M. TCAS i felt bad for this car from the jump. It had potential but for him it was just fun the car is long long gone now. As a Jaguar owner and enthusiast I just shook my head.
