Hi Gwen, The large area of white at the top was overwhelming for me. But loved all other parts of the painting.

Gwen I just found your channel, subscribed, and have been binge watching…on this piece, I see the sweep from upper left to bottom right but no counter sweep. Looking forward to the next video.

I think the focal point needs to be better defined. I would probably increase the value contrast there. Love your style, Gwen! Warm wishes, Bonnie

You read my mind... I was thinking you needednan accent of color to add a focal point and bring more drama in... And you did! Woo hoo! Yes I know the feeling of not taking a break and continuing on and then you kill your piece... Oh well... I just did that to one. Bit that is okay as the two pieces I did before killed it and came out really well... So they can't always be successes. But we have fun trying... 😊
