I’m often asked how I achieve luminosity in my paintings and someone posed that question here on my RU-vid channel too. In response, in this video I talk about elements I believe must be present to create luminosity by analyzing one of my paintings, a painting by Hudson River School Landscape Painter Frederic Edwin Church and a piece by Abstract Expressionist Mark Rothko.
