Asalamualiakum Junaid Bhai, this is Ahmed here from Hyderabad, India. I being a transporter we running our feet and family business since 4 generations now. We already have such platforms available in India, but as a transporters perspective these portals are very challenging to reach the end truck driver. The major issue in this industry is manpower, the drivers are very difficult to find, even if you did they are unskilled, unprofessional, unreliable and moody. It’s an unorganised sector which cannot be organised as we are dealing with people who are very less dedicated. No matter what amenities you’re providing them. The only segment that benefits from this portal is to vehicles owner cum drivers with some education and skill to operate it. We have a huge pile of work, but due to manpower issues we aren’t able to fulfill them.
@@abhaypatel4292 Honestly its a very great initiative been taken as more than 80% of goods & services are delivered via roads in our country, that will give a potential for truck drivers to find load from there present location and will have options to choose among different destinations or route, based on freight charges or type of material etc. which will directly impact in lower transportation cost and thus goods will reach the end user for a better price. When it comes the implementation part that's going to take hell lot of time and laser focus consistency for it to work as I see Amazon and Flipkart are using this same strategy currently and our colleagues have received the work order contract for an year. Though they have a huge fleet of trucks still they are facing lot of issues due to unreliability, inability and lack of awareness in manpower which is creating a non user friendly work environment in this model and pressure to achieve target goals. When it comes to external issues inconsistency in working towards this policy due to social, economical, political and financial reasons could ruin it or either it could turn out to be just another policy announcement an year before elections.
It’s really interesting to see that these kind of good and sensible people are there in Pakistan, who actually has the evolved mindset and they are thinking in a better way for their life and their own business.Hats off . I am from India but was not expecting this that these kind of good people are still there in Pakistan.😊

It was very refreshing to see young blood like Sarmad, ambitious to make change are getting highlighted, One thing which is often overlooked is the financial education of uneducated or lower middleclass people. It would be a great idea if Truck It In worked on teaching the truckers about financial management of their salary so they can help raise a more stable household for him. Therefore he can be more productive and less stressed.
We have something similar called Porter, it's C2C. Say I want to send a small table to another place, I book on the porter app, choosing the vehicle size depending on consignment size, I can also add if additional man power is needed. The price is shown and vendors pick the req up, call you to pick said consignment and deliver.

Its nothing positive, its just true. The problem with pakistan will be internet, banking system, and identity card like Aadhaar which they dont have and further more lack of investments.
Pak had pretty good logistics potential. It sits in between rest of Asia and central Asia. It can be a good transit point for trade between east and west. Alas, obsession with religion and a lust destroying India is the reason behind pak's downfall and uselessness.

hi Junaid, lovely podcast as always. when i hear our guests talking about india and its policies i can see that not all of them are well infromed. what i would suggest ,if you are really interested is to watch our external affairs ministers talks about the government , and also people like nitin gadkari. special recommendation to watch yogi adityanaths interviews.like him or hate him, he has made UP liveable. our EAM is extremely softspoke, well articulated and calls a spade a spade. while one one hand you would assume of them to blow their own trumpet but its all facts based. here in india you cant just go about making baseless claims and expect people to vote u back term after term. you are doing a fab job cheers

Careem is a bullshit app For drivers And best for the users As compared to other ride hailing apps. Drivers like Uber compared to careem. Flaw is in trying to give better experience to users careem undermines the drivers always. 2ndly careem is not an equal opportunity app for all the drivers. There are many flaws. And this rating system is biggest bullshit.... A driver may have a perfect ride with user all goes absolutely well. But for unknown reason the user will f#%k up the ratings at the end. There are so many things i can point out. I had been both User And Captain For Both apps careem and Uber Both Nationaly and internationally And tell you what uber's users are also some how little better then careem users.
