I’d like to ask when doing a cutback or bottom turn , whether you Are lifting the front of the board as well as lifting the outside rail? (I guess forcing rocker into board to aid turning) I tried just lifting outside rail and I continued straight ahead but 1 rail out of water . Unsure if I’d weighted inside rail though. Cheers
Cutbacks and bottom turns are both different moves, that require you to control the board differently. You would lift the nose whilst applying weight to you outside rail for a cutback. When performing a bottom turn you lift the outside rail to initiate the inside rail against the face of the wave. Check out our other videos on our channel for more info. 🤙🏻
