I started collecting Hanayama puzzles after watching your videos. I love the channel, one thing I miss are the cinematic intros like in the video about legolamaniac's swordbox puzzle. :)
Of all of the escape puzzles I've seen so far, Quest Tower is the most impressive-looking. $70 is a really good price for it, too. I really wish I had a place for it in the apartment.
Sorry but this puzzle was not good. I recently solved it myself and ran into the same issues you did. The bottom sliders have no logic behind them, it's completely brute force. The half shapes that could be combined together with the circles around them did nothing. The shapes on the stairs did nothing. Not a good logic puzzle.
That part with the tablets (as shown at 10:13) is interesting. I remember that part of the story of the Tower of Babel is that when the people were building it, their languages became confused, and they couldn't communicate with each other. So, this puzzle has a mechanic where you need to gather and organize the little fragments of language, understand them as a whole, and only then can you proceed. I think that's kind of fitting.
I enjoy the logical and engineering approach you have. I only have the iDventure Davy Jones Locker, so I’m not really a collector, but these kind are my favorite type, laser cut, sequential, etc. But I have always loved doing jigsaw puzzles, the more complex, the better. This quest puzzle would be awesome.
Ooo giveaway! Yay! Always like the escape room in a box style puzzles. Those are my favorite to watch anyways, but honestly just seeing you get so excited and happy doing packing puzzles is fantastic too!
This reminds me of the game series The Room. It's on mobile and most of them have been ported to Steam. It's basically a puzzle box like this, only much larger, more complex, and impossible in the real world.
Love your channel and passion for puzzles. I recently acquired Escapewelt's Fort Knox escape room in a box and it was also very challenging. Like this tower puzzle, the clues were obscure and confusing. It took several sittings with it to finally figure them all out. I'd love to try solving their jigsaw-style puzzle next. Thank you for sharing all of the incredible puzzles that you feature in you videos, even the short ones. KEEP ON PUZZLING!
I wanted to say that this is one of my favorite channels on RU-vid to watch. I have a huge puzzle collection partly thanks to you! I'm hoping to see you do a custom puzzle soon. I really like the puzzles that are made specifically for you
that was quite the puzzle, but definitely my favorite kind - these are actually the type I'm better at than your usual puzzles. I love the variety out there!
I do not want to be a part of the give away, I do however want to tell you what is good about your channel. The consistency and simplicity. Every video is exactly the same, and yet, due to the different puzzles, each puzzle insures that each video is completely different. your channel is at once comforting in it's familiarity and interesting the it's variety. You are another good part. Your focus and your easy manner and good attitude as you face challenges, and sometimes challenges caused by the failure of the puzzle itself. You steer clear of frustration in it's caustic form consistently and deftly. I appreciate this and salute your skill and sheer will power. Thank you for always doing your best and making it fun and engaging.
Love you’re content. One of the people that got me into puzzling. Don’t even care about winning the puzzle. Just want to say thank you. Puzzles have helped save my life and you played a part in that. Thanks again brother
My first thought was how 'Da Vinci' the puzzle tower looked, really stunning. The solution was quite intriguing and you were more excited at every right turn, or left. I enjoy your straightforward method, not too much talking, before you strart. Some other puzzle solvers do talk too much, in my opinion. Great puzzle, and post, thank you. 👍
I love your channel. I have been subscribed to you from the beginning. I would love to win the puzzle give away :) This tower puzzle you did today was very challenging and cool! Thanks for showing us!
Basically the escape rooms in a box will fit also inside of the sequential discovery category if you have to use parts to proceed. Escape rooms in a box are just more like an real escape room where you need to solve specific puzzles one after another.
I like to do some of the kits from time to time. I also like some videos of mine more than others though. Glad you still keep watching even when not every video is the type you prefer.
watching since the beginning of this channel it's amazing how far the production value has come - i started watching originally because it was a bit ASMR vibes and now i watch for the fascinating puzzles!
I'm really looking forward for more assembly kits :D I've gifted the scorpion to my father, and it was one the best gifts I ever made! I loved assembling it and it made a pretty wholesome impression I wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for your videos, so thank you very much!
Hello Mr Puzzle, I found you after watching Chris Ramsey's vids and I still absolutely love how you two worked together and you helped him with the sword in the stone puzzle. I sub'ed after that and have been here ever since.
step two : the symbols you found on the sliders - triangle , square , pentagon ,... : there are also symbols on the Bottom of the stairs after flipping them -( I think they are a hint for solving ) which Look like puzzle Parts ( most of them have a dot or more) - there are many of them all over the tower and if you combine them correct you can bild a Triangle , a Square a pentagon and the Ellipse - t so for example when you build the pentagon ( with the symbol on the left side of the staircase and the one on top of the Tower ) you have the pentagon with 3 small dots/ circles around - now look where the pentagon on the tower is - go 3 steps to the left in the line above and you have the right symbol for the slider ..
Love your channel all the way from New Zealand. Appreciate all your content. Not one bad thing. Even how you draw the inner workings of the puzzle to work it out. Legend.
Really one of the best puzzle channels out here. I really like the steps you take how to solve a puzzle and you take the time to explain it to us. Keep doing what you do! 💪
Amazing channel, love to see how some of these puzzles work. They all look like fun, but some seem really hard. Mr Puzzle keeps his cool a lot better than I would with some of those tough ones 😄
That bit that confused you around the 9:30 mark. Did one of the sliders not move before you tried to turn the key? I'm still waiting for you to lose it with a puzzle and just take a saw to it, honestly 😊
Love all your videos, I really enjoy the hanayama type puzzles where you try to solve them live. Also doing the intro after your solve I feel is a good way to do it so you can comment on difficulty at the beginning of the video while still having the genuine solve after.
it's awesome watching you put these puzzles together and the time and comments that you make along the way it's awesome and keep producing these videos and I'll continue to watch them
I love your logical and analytical approach to solving puzzles. Always fun to see how close you get to the right answer when you're doing a mechanical puzzle and you describe what you believe the inner workings will look like.
Thank you for making quality content. I have yet to watch a video that is not a content creator that does not enjoy his craft. I would love to see more frequent content but I understand the need for a day job.
Here are the reasons I enjoy your videos. You have a great camera angle all the time. You bring in new fun gadgets to show off along with your puzzles. I also like the fact that you take time how to explain each puzzles with your drawings of the inside of some of your puzzles. You never give up, you always have ways to figure out how the mechanism works. I enjoy your enthusiasm once you figure out how it can be solved. Plus your from Germany!!!!
I actually came to this channel after seeing Chris Ramsay trying to solve the excalibur puzzle, love seeing your solving process and lateral thinking. Keep on puzzling!
I can't even remember how long I've been following you! Thanks to you I discovered Hanayama puzzles, and during a Christmas period I had a good time with friends solving them...! A lot fun..!
