Heavenly Father, we thank You for revealing that depression is not merely an emotion but a spirit. We will no longer treat it as a feeling but attack it from its root, which is spiritual. We ask You to destroy by fire the root of depression. We refuse to work along with this spirit by engaging in negative thoughts or grieving over things we cannot change.
