danger isn't really a concern when it comes to a fear (irrational or not)! like, nayeon and momo don't care if they're safe, they're just scared regardless and won't go beyond at least TRYING to do it if they can help it (like they both wanted to try the first course, realized they were too scared, and decided not to; same with the stilts and the wall climb--they tried, were scared, stopped for their own well being). mina wants to be safe AND in control, that's why she could do the wall climb (it's not that high up and because she was in control the whole time) but not the first obstacle course because it was just free roaming and she didn't have any control of how fast or slow she could be (plus that's part of the reason why she properly did the slide AFTER momo did it so she knew it wasn't that unsafe, scary, or uncontrollable if momo of all people was telling her to do it). and dahyun will be extremely scared (fear, safety, & control doesn't matter) but she WILL do it anyway regardless. i know it's you jokingly telling them to just do it, but not everyone wants or needs to face their fear if they don't have to. this isn't something they do everyday, so in nayeon's and momo's case, they're just not gonna do it beyond trying for the camera and making content. i'm pretty sure if this was twice going to this course in their free time, namo wouldn't try it AT ALL. so this is them actually giving their 100%. there's a reason why nayeon said she didn't want this TTT to come out--she KNEW how she looked and was embarrassed about it!
