Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new around the house happenings! I was unmotivated but needed to do a weekly reset for the week ahead so once I started moving I was very productive as I needed to be! I got my meal plan for the week done, some cooking up new recipes, cleaning, getting chicken eggs and just general around the house happenings! Hope you enjoy hanging out with me! Kim, don't discount the need and absolute acceptability of taking time to do nothing. Yes, things will still pile up and the mess will get worse but just like you have the rest of your life to decorate your house, you also have the rest of your life to clean it. Take your moments. Do nothing. Sometimes you need those days to clear that brain, which helps with decision paralysis. ❤

I always feel bad for all the specials teachers and assistants!! I wish I could literally buy for the whole school!! That’s why I try to do little gifts throughout the school year!!

We live in Oregon where the rain clouds never shut off so I got a walking pad. We’ve had it 3 months and I’ve lost 20 pounds. 🎉

When we got engaged 100 years ago, my husband's aunt sent us a lovely card with a beautiful pie server. It's not something I'd have bought myself, which is the beauty of it. I was years old and it felt so fancy! Loved it!

When my girls we little...we all wore white shoes. I would wash them at the same time and put them out on a table in the sun to dry. The sun helped whiten and brighten them up. 🤩 Have a wonderful week with your beautiful family! 🦋🥰💕🙏

Cleaning sneakers. Spray with Dawn Power Wash. Use a magic eraser for the bottom parts. Is especially smelly, put baking soda in the sneakers. Wash with a good detegent in the machine.

We finished our homeschool year last week and, as a reward, I took my kids to Lancaster. There’s nothing like Amish whoopie pies and fresh donuts 🤤 the only thing I like about living in PA lol

Kim I wash my white shoes every couple weeks....with my white bath mats too. A little powder tide and oxy clean sport, zero scrubbing!!! Just toss it all in...but dry them in the sun, just a little extra sun whitening!

You can put your shoes out in the sun to help whiten and brighten them as well. Also, the Dollar Tree sells "magic erasers" for shoes. They're usually located in the check out section.

Kim this is just a strange little tip, but when storing a cake dish flip the base upside-down and put the cover over the pedestal of the cake dish. It will be more sturdy while storing. 😉

I learned from a Facebook sourdough group that you can revive or refreshen up stale sourdough by soaking in under water (even the cut side) and popping it in the oven for 375 for like 10 minutes.

I use a glass cookie jar for my starter. It has a wide mouth for stirring and lots of room to grow.

Omg! I knew I liked you before but now you gave me another reason. We do yoyo nights too!! A few years back I remember trying to figure out dinner and I’m like “well I don’t have a plan tonight so you’re on your own…” and yoyo has been a thing in our house ever since! Kim!! Just take out a portion of the starter and feed just what you need, leave the rest of the starter in the fridge. I've left mine 5+ months in the fridge unfed and it was fine.. super super slow to feed after that but it bounced back with some heat. Don't feed the whole thing when you have a ton haha

Your personality is impeccable, you are soo real and sometimes home making you tubers videos can be boring but yours are far from boring, you are also entertaining. I wore my new shoes out to cut the grass and completely grass stained them and it took all the stains out !

I'm from Pennsylvania. Don't live there anymore. I loved going to Hershey Park. Also Lancaster to see the Amish. Some lived around Oxford and we went to their homes to watch how they lived compared to us. I liked the chocolate whoopie pies with the cream flavor inside. They were so friendly. Also the Menonites were nice when traveling there. We also got to tour the Herr potato chip factory. If you have white leather shoes you can use Mr Clean magic eraser on them. Loved your video 💙

Stabilized whip cream frosting requires no butter and you already have the gelatin. I would highly recommend googling the recipe the next time you’re in a frosting bind 😃

i get recipes from food network site, all recipes or RU-vid. i rarely have time to make them. usually, dont have all the ingredients. it would just be for me anyways. oxi clean works great. i use it to soak dish towels & even used it to take the dinge out of lamp shades.

Hi Kim, I found those big jars at Target & Meijer (unfortunately, you don't have Meijer in FL). YES! I don't take the best care of my sourdough starter. It survives! 🤣
