So cool to see this level completed, I just beat the nerfed version of it today as a new hardest and I'm extremely happy with myself. Congrats to dylan for beating the unnerfed version!
another note on the ship at 34-35: in old updates' physics, straight fly was *much* harder, as the ship's gravity and acceleration were stronger, so i am not surprised at all that it was not verified by now, i'd honestly be surprised if it was legitimately possible back in the day.
I wanna see this rated so that aeon beats bl and says hes not gonna do a new hardest for a while then do rust and say hes not gonna do anything hard fir a long time and then do this
How many old previously considered as impossible levels are gonna get verified before people come to finally realise that the game itself is just too hard to the point where you *HAVE* to become a god gamer to actually achieve something that would be considered decent in it? More people will have to drop from school for that.
@@Piggehh Lol I never said that, nor did I mean to. Actually, I was trying to say the opposite. No one with a sane mind would ever drop from school just for a game. All I was trying to say is that I thought GD will eventually die that way, but then after I realised there's A LOT more to the game than just verifying impossible levels, so sorry for the mistake 😅
Aeon: if this gets rated im probably going to go for it Aeon like 5 mins later: If this gets rated i am 100% doing it Aeon again like 3 mins later: Maybe one day i will go for it who knows
i was the old world record holder for this level with 67% until KPGDylan took over and finally beat this. literally the only reason why it hasnt been beaten until now is because of 34%. Absolute's hack that showcases the hitboxes reveals that if you look very closely, sprite-wise the half-spikes at 34% are a few pixels higher up than normal-sized spikes, making this a million times worse than it needed to be. in short, a stupidly setup hitbox for one spike is why this was so horrible
also keep in mind that straight fly was made pre 1.9. imagine doing that consistently on MOBILE before high refresh rate monitors and with pre 2.0 ship physics.
I'm actually best friends with Dylan and we've been hyping him up this whole time about this stuff lol. He always talked about how he was one of the best in our state when we were in school but I didn't really comprehend it until he got the world record... and then again... and again... and finally beat it. He's a really cool dude, I'm glad he's getting the recognition he deserves for his skill. I hope everyone keeps an eye on him cause he has some big things planned -- bigger than this.
It's difficult to tell how difficult levels like this are because doing the actual timings doesn't take too much practice but they are almost impossible to get consistent at
if i had a dollar for every time aeon thought something was intriguing then people would be so confused why earth is covered in a blanket of money 4 feet thick
I feel like there could be a level that is just 60 clicks per second for 60 seconds and aeon would still like it. He’d call it “very unique” and say something like “it has its charm”.
