I’ve been using my UNO Synth since my first demo (3 years ago) and still it’s my goto monosynth. It still amazes me and just simply connecting it to an 88 through 37 key anything turns it into a synth worthy of any stage. IK should be really proud of themselves and the new Pro series. This video truly stands out. But then again, in the hands of a master, need I say more. Your pairing with the Vox is brilliant. The finest UNO video to date and I’ve watched them all, on purpose 😂🤣. IK has surprised me again…this is getting to be good habit 👍
Well it sounds fab, esp in your hands, but man... the choice of colour combination for shirt, the Uno, the V64, the background lights, jacket, it really deserves a hats off Matt... bravissimo!
Finally someone who can play instead of standing unrhythmically on a low C key and turning a resonance potentiometer. You can make a sound talk like the keyboardist of Mezzoforte. What a good demostration!
Loving your reviews, everything you touch is going to sell a shed load of. Great demo and keyboard lesson at the same time. Also a great sounding machine in your hands, very characterful.
DAMMMNNN MATT, you KILLED!!! I love the style that this synth evoked from you, VERY gritty and groovy ✌️ UNO should pay you for this demo. Also, it would be amazing if you compiled all of your demo stuff together 😊 I would let it loop all through the day. I love your playing! Simply legendary 🙌
Wow, great sounding little synth - especially in your talented hands. The vibe you created around 14:00 reminded me of Patrick Moraz in the 70's for some reason - which is so cool. Many thanks!
Matt you are the most funky, the most groovy keys player. I love the vibes. Excellent funky intention. Superb Sound mentalities. You could make a casio sound like absolute dirt funk. Love you and your channel absolutely rules!!
I am doing some work while RU-vid serves up your videos. I check specific gear out every so often but tonight I am just letting it roll. So darn relaxing and enjoyable...I really like your videos!
I had the original uno synth, and sometimes I wish I still did. The sequencer was great, and the parameter locking was a game changer for getting sounds other than sweeps out of parameters. The build left something to be desired which looks like they addressed with this newer version. The sound has always been great.
The combination of musical genius and synthesizer programming skill with Matt is just mind boggling. I'm sure the Uno is a great synth but to be fair even a dull synth would sound good under the care of Mr. Johnson 😉
So sick dude! It really does sound good. Excellent content as always!! Your playing style is so cool.. I’ve had a lot of synths in the past and my favorite is the an1x, if you ever get your hands on one I would love to see that video!!
I ended up scoring a used one, haven't gotten past scrolling the presets yet but it sounds great so far. Impressed with the build quality too, this sucker is heavy! This demo almost singlehandedly convinced me to get one, this board has a surprisingly small footprint on the web.
I love that you paired the synth with the clav in the matching colour, and then even chose a shirt to match! You are a product photographer's dream demonstrator :-)
@@ParsleyBass Aww, I realised my mistake while watching the rest of the video. I knew someone would call me out on it! I was just reminiscing about that cool Vibanet demo from last year and it must have distracted me...
This reminds me of how the yamaha synths have been structured for years (each voice basically a complete sound in and of itself-it's own oscillator, filter, etc) combined with the flexibility, sequencing, and menu diving of the Alesis Micron
Nice showcase!nice to see Johnny has been doing great since he left Cobra Kai. You made me want to go and buy it! This is better that the official demo
Hi, Matt! Great jams as always! :) This gear seems to be very interesting! It would be awesome if MFB Synth Pro's creator put his polyphonic analog core into this "box" using UNO's logic! The collaboration should be great IMO!
After listening to lots of Korg Modwave sounds and then coming and listening to you play this - sounds so much more capable of sounds I would actually use. I would love to hear you use the Korg Modwave too.
Thanks for the review Matt. I was in 2 minds about this synth. I have the original Uno Synth and Uno Drum. I absolutely love both of them. Unfortunately, like this one, they both came unfinished! But about 18 months later the firmware has been updated to fix quite a lot of bugs. I also understand that there are future updates for this one. That's what's putting me off. Amazing sounds though.
i immediately thought of weather report. my concern is if I buy it those lovely sounds you used that none are built in and id have to figure it all out myself which im crap at. sounded incredible
I just finally got mine and have been playing it alot. I think it sounds incredible. I am hoping to talk them into implementing expo glide and variable EG curves. I would love this to be my primary live soloing synth and it needs those things, drop them a line if you think that would be cool! One of my favorite patches i made for the Sub37 is a pedal steel thing, where it's duophonic and the mod wheel bends the bottom note up. The next patch I'm going to make with the USP is something similar, but I'll be able to make 3 note chords, and choose what note gets bent.
Hi I love your videos you are a fabulous player, I was going to buy an arturia minibrute, but I feel saw this I really like it what do you think arturia minibrute or uno thanks 🎹🎼
Mr Matt! Thanks for the years of amazing music and content. Learned a lot from watching What are you using for the platform for the uno to sit flat on top of your EP? As a fellow vintage vibe piano lover, I need something similar
