Dude this couldn't have come at a better time. I have been struggling with nose slides for a long minute now... and it's embarrassing. I got slappy nose slides, but transitioning that to good old ollie up nose slides... my boards just like "nope, loser". Thank Nuzzi!
hell yeah doggie. i've been learning & practicing these lately and no matter how much i analyze, i can never do them if i think about how i do them beforehand. but if i tell myself i'm going to do one and just bash into the curb, it happens! been looking for more tips like this!
I have slappy noseslides down and going to attempt to learn noseslides on taller ledges tomorrow morning. This video came at the perfect time. Your tutorials have been teaching me since the ride channel. Thank you for sharing your tips and knowledge. I’ve been learning from your videos since your Ride channel tutorials when you taught me how to Ollie in 2013. Thank you again Spencer!
I'm not great at slaps or slides so this was very helpful I've watched your ride channel vids wen I was a kiddo u basically taught me dawg fav skater luv u bro 😎
Love the wheels. 90's-esque. Small wheels help with nose/tail-slides, not just flip tricks. I was about to get 48 mm Spitfires, but went with 50 mm. Usually, I skate 52 mm.
That's amazing how quickly he got them. Basically a learned them instantly after Spencer explained as well as he did. I def should start trying to adding bigspins or flips out by practicing from the nose stall. It's hard to pop out tho
love this and would like to see more! you're a great teacher! Could you do tail slide? I almost always over rotate the board and the tail slides out on me - like a fs 180 where my tail lands on the ledge for a second... I need some Nuzzi Knowledge
As a complete beginner now the only slides I've been doing are bs slappy nose slides just like here. Definitely helpful. The baseplate thing is true. My base plate is pretty beaten after months of them.
I learned how to nose slide from learning how to half cab nose slide first. Half cab nose slides are 10 times easier then regular nose slide for 2 reasons 1 your facing the ledge and can see your self Turing into the nose slide and 2 all your momentum coming from the half cab helps you come out out of the nose slide easier. With a regular nose slide you have to open your shoulders to get into the ledge then shift your shoulders closed to get out with the half cab nose slide it’s all 1 fluid motion. If you know how to Ollie into the nose slide but are having issues with sliding or getting out I highly recommend learning how to half cab nose slide
yes dude ! 🔥🔥🔥 these kind of videos brought me to your channel back in the day + I got slappy nose slide and been wanting to get them better and learn ollie in so, thanks for making this one brother !! 🤙🏼🛹 (would love more instruction videos for curb tricks)
I was just starting to skate when I saw one of your tutorials on how to kickflip and stuff, now I have made lots of progress, I can 3flip and shit 😭 you cool fam
just learning slappy noseslides now, im comin at the curb parallel now and can slide good and can hold it for a couple feet but trying to learn how to come out reg instead of fakey.. normal noseslides next, will have to come back to this video in the near future.
Is it the same principle for the front nose cause I can't figure out the way to approach sliding it or where my weight should be, great video feel like my nose slide increased by 100 skill points 😂🇦🇺👌
@@spencernuzzi thanks mate i always your tips and tricks really helpful just rewatched you backside flip tutorial and feel like i can never miss ✊🏼🇦🇺👌🏼
I've been watching 100s of video about nose slide and i can't get this trick... My front wheels keeps on hiting the ledge and stops me from sliding...any tips? ( I'm getting so frustrating😤😤😤 )
Please help, I need to land my kickflips the flick is there but my front foot is too quick to land on the ground. Is it my jumping? How do I jump enough to let my front and back foot land on the bOard😭
I usually attempt nose slides slappy, even on ledges about the height slightly below my knee. When trying to Ollie on it I always slip out or my front truck gets over the ledge... Oh well
I'm gonna need a tip on popping out of front nose, been able to do FS noseslide forever but the pop out doesn't make sense to me and you definitely got those. I got em BS, shove out either way, etc.
