As an OG viewer, soon as I saw the set up I knew there would be iterations of the kitchen. I am excited to see all the new decorating with the old pieces especially the egg chairs.
Wow what a wonder kitchen now you have an excuse to shop to fill up all those spaces. I love the two toned white and brown cabinets and gold handles even though I’m thinking you might change the brown to blue.
I moved last year and I feel your pain. I did the exact same thing with my kitchen. I just unloaded to where it would make sense at the time and organized through the year. I just finished my last cabinet, so my kitchen is to my liking. It just takes time. But as is making it your home. It's looking beautiful though! Our amazing friends helped us with mine and my husband's move to our house. If we move again, we will hire professionals because we have new furniture. I can't wait to see the finishing touches to your home. You have amazing tastes!
Lovely kitchen. I would organise it in sections cooking, baking, coffee, cleaning etc so everything would be at reach whatever you’re doing. And the storage in the island near the bar stools can be used for seasonal kitchen decor. Enjoy your kitchen it’s beautiful 😍
I agree. With all that storage space use some to put away your small appliances. It’s not difficult at all to get out what you need at the time of cooking. It just gives the kitchen a calmer look. 💕I do LOVE that massive kitchen💕
Just curious if you're going to run all of the dishes through the dishwasher before putting them away and subsequently using them given that they've been handled by packers and probably need to be sanitized.
Gorgeous as always! PS can you please share with us how you can keep kids away from precious stuffs. I saw u put the vases in a low shelf. Also I didnt see you use any cabinet lockers. 🙏🙏 Share how you keep the kids in check.
This reminds me of when I moved house to go overseas. I promised myself I would never have so much excess stuff ever again. 🤣 I am now a transitioning minimalist & there's so much freedom. Invest in experiences people not stuff.
Reminds me of my old kitchen. When we first moved in, I was like : OMG so much space, I’ll never fill all these cabinets up! Spoiler: we sure did! LOL It’s great to have a place for everything. Enjoy it!
I'm packing and I labeled my items by room and each box is color coded for everyone with a description of the items in the boxes. I learned that from my Army days
I looove the look of the tile all the way up to the ceiling!! I bought the foil wrap storage cage tiu recommended, and I will warn you- the if you care parchment paper is just barely too long to fit in it 😣😩 so I’ll have to figure out how to make that work!
Love the kitchen! 💕 Liz have you considered replacing a couple of solid door fronts with glass to display your lovely items just like your last kitchen? Think that would look so nice in your new kitchen😊
Girl .. how did you not clean all the kitchenware before putting them away ?… The movers had there grubby hands on them . It’s a different issue if you had packed them your self .
So gorgeous Liz !!! Loving all the extra storage space that’s definitely a must have when your always in the kitchen lol Question do you know where the island light fixtures are from by any chance?? Thank you ❤️
Yup, I should’ve but the dishwasher wasn’t working. We had to wait 2 days for it to be serviced 😭 I ended up washing them cabinet by cabinet so essentially create double the work for myself 🤦🏻♀️
Enjoy getting to know your new kitchen. I agree it takes time. I love moving things around a zillion times too. When you get it the way you like 'you know'.... xo CONGRATS!
