I've enjoyed hearing your work so much since at least the Rome Total War soundtrack but this seems like an even more intricate audio design challenge that calls for greater atmospheric fidelity.
Apologies for the irrevelant to the content of the video comment. The music you made for Rome and Medieval 2 Total War is so amazing. After playing the games I used to listen to it for many years while studying as it was so soothing. I have so many good memories when listening again this music and I would like to thank you for this. Finally Angela's performance in "Forever" and "We are all one" conveys so much sentiment that the latter song made me realise the ugliness of war as a teenager. Thank you again for the amazing music, wish you all the best!
My wife was playing this game while being pregnant. I remember it is a pretty chill game. I just found out that you were making the music in "NFS II se" along with Saki Kaskas !!!11!! Thanks for all my childhood memories and i will check unpacking too.
It was an experience playing the game, and I think I have to credit your work with sound for just how powerfully nostalgic it was, despite the whole premise being that players know nothing about the person who's Unpacking. (Also you 2 are a cute couple, its giving goals.)
The audio design in Unpacking was awesome, thank you for sharing this! ... Though I'm still hoping for a sequel for Assault Android Cactus, your music was miraculously good.
This was really interesting. It's really nice to sometimes think about how much work can go into tiny details, such as these. Total War isn't what it used to be without Jeff's tracks or Angela's vocals, either.
So there's the guy who did Skitchin's music. I recorded that to my cassette tapes as a kid. Any Sega genesis game with a sound test mode was a blessing.
I am glad to see them together in a vid for some reason. Maybe because I always hear their works in Total War games growing up & imagined them being together while working, and to see them together now. Hard to say. The people who made our childhood wonderful, inspired a generation of history enthusiasts. I don't know if it's unreal or historic, but it is definitely something. As for the game, I'm not sure if I would play it. The concept is interesting, though.
