yip, the 18-li is still made in germany, but the brush-less grinder feels like it has more torque. It will also be kinder to its batteries and this grinder has a switch off at stall which the 18-li does not have. though choice, but you are reading this with the aide from chinese made stuff, sure they make crap, but they also make the best.
