Two person format worked perfectly fine! was nice to see Raz and his missus in there as a little treat (but if they just wanted to hang out, enjoy the festival without having to film constantly, it's understandable, or whatever the reason was). It's always nice with a larger crew, I'm sure it also helps with getting a wider variety of experiences and shots in to the content, but it's not essential to always have a big group - Kellas and Varley carried the video just fine, as I'm sure any other duo from the crew would be able to do the same for future videos.
Just wanted to second this comment, rather than just ‘like’ as this perfectly sums up my feelings too. I prefer videos with the larger group, but this worked really well. I think I would have liked more music/bands in the video, as it left me thinking 🤔 “all this travel is not worth it”. But your reactions were that it WAS worth it, so I feel like I needed more festival content, in addition to the Vlog footage. Thanks for the great video 🙏
Lads I gotta say I loved the 2 person travel vlog. You know, just more focused and felt like we were there with you. Bravo and cheers to the next adventures. 🤙🏼
This video helped me more than you know. I lost a good friend a few days ago to suicide. I'm absolutely heartbroken of course so was really pleased to see you had uploaded. Keep doing these things with your mates, you never know whats coming tomorrow 😞
Hey man, I'm really sorry for what you are going through rn! I went through the same thing a couple months ago and let me tell you: It won't heal in a week or two and it will definitely be tough, but it sure does get better. Just hang in there, spend some time with your mates, do things you know you enjoy and be open to people around you about how you are feeling. Whatever you are feeling rn is valid and it is okay to not be okay. I believe in you to get through these tough times! Keep your head up and try to find some joy :)
1. Oyo is a horrible hotel and that was a fortune! 2. You’re mental for all them flights 😂 3. This felt like a travel vlog and I welcome more just travel vlogs!!! 4. Yes fantastic video, just two of you wasn’t an issue at all. 5. Keep up the amazing work. 👍🏻
Proper treat. Loved it. Perfectly good fun having 2.5 of the boys on this, I’d be well up for more like this if you wanna do them. In fact, the unplanned ‘f*ck it’ element of the content really added to it.
I know no one else will care, but this video crossed over two of my favorite RU-vid channels. The guy who announced Tony Hawk is named Jason Ellis, who has a podcast and is a pro skater, he also has a podcast with Tony. So that was pretty col for me.
Congratulations TPD! So thrilled to see both of you thriving and creating amazing content together with 'When We Were Young.' It's such a bittersweet feeling not being able to be there in person, but know that even from afar, I'm cheering you on and supporting your success. Keep shining bright! ✨💕 #ProudFan #WhenWeWereYoung #WishIWasThere
I watch every single video and I can honestly say this was one of my favorites! I loved that it was also a travel vlog through Vegas. I've been to Vegas many times but it is so fun to see two British lads visit the city!
Honestly just the two of you enjoying a festival like this with the travel vlog elements is a great video you dont need the full squad to make awesome content
Rob you bring out the best in people man, you know how to tell an engaging story, its the subtleties that make the glue. Jake, Ryan and everyone at tpdtv, ye're all brilliant! Onwards and upwards 🙌
One of my favourite tpd tv videos to date. Really enjoying the travel vlogs as well. Definitely would be a cool concept to do more of these in the festival off season!
It’s like an episode in a season right, each one is unique and loved more or less by fans but the heart of TPD TV is there with the two of y’all and the whole lot of y’all so just keep doing whatever feels right, it’s going great so far.
I think this was my favourite video this year! Rob and Varley are a great combo, I loved all the travel to Vegas and going round Vegas. Brilliant video, thank you!
Hope you enjoyed your brief stay in Phoenix! Great vid!! Can't wait for the pod about this one later! I absolutely love the lot of you going to fests together but since there are such strong bonds and fun to be had with any grouping/coupling of everyone I would also love videos in the future of just 2-3 of you guys especially if it means going to more festivals! I think it would also help the "issue" with festivals feeling same-y after the first couple times going! Either way I love the vids
It's the evolution of your festival videos that has kept us entertained. Somehow you lot have found a way to bring us with you every time. Thanks for staying true to the fans out here! Cheers
This was the best Tpd video in a very long time felt like the old America videos, the best videos you’ve ever made in my opinion. Hopefully more travel vlogs in the new year!
Really enjoyed this one lads. It works because you're both clearly very, very good mates. Nice to see how the whole journey to and from played out, and also good to get an insight into the logistics of how these kinds of things are planned.
Love the 2 people festival style videos!!! , really felt like I was there on the trip A lot more personal as it’s one video continuously, not loads of videos from different peoples perspectives Keep it up
Always fun watching the tpd squad hitting up these concerts! Always fills me with FOMO, wishing my squad would have held off on becoming parents a little longer so that we could have experienced some more of this life! haha Keep up the fun content! Cheers!
I watched from start to finish as I do always I find yous entertaining should it be you two or all but going forward it doesn’t matter as long as it’s watchable, and funny 😂
Glad you guys had a blast! I went to WWWYF on Sunday and it was just as crazy as the Saturday show! I also enjoyed how the bathrooms had speakers hahaha
You had that spicy chicken the night before a flight to Texas. You are both braver than I am for doing that. I take it that there wasn't an emergency during the flight? That would have been rough.
This was great! You two are an awesome duo, I love Jake's easy going nature and Rob's go go go attitude makes for a fun fast paced video. It's funny to hear your take on the tipping culture in America. I know it seems out of control at times, I was in vegas a month ago and did feel more obligated to tip than usual ( im from California). Thanks for the fun watch!
I thought the couple of comments Rob made regarding “ killer view “ and one other making reference to the festival shooting in 2017 was pretty shitty. I know you think your edgy and cool but 60 people lost their lives just going to a festival. Something you love to do.
I really enjoyed this video. Such a nice video watching two good friends traveling around together. I genuinely enjoyed how excited you were when you saw the view of the sphere. Also, as an American, I have tipping fatigue. It’s getting out of hand and I’m getting grumpy about it.
ive not heard a single good thing about 30 seconds to mars being good live recently. Jared is dead tired of it and he doesnt sing most of his songs. They were insane live back in the day though. Glad I saw simple plan instead. Because sounds like I missed out on nothing.
Kind of crazy though how you were only there for three nights since you traveled such a long way. I was therr for 1,5 weeks and thought that was a fairly short stay. But since you go to so many festivals around the world it does kinda make sense, would cost you so much more if you stayed at every place for over a week
