The 2000 Presidential Election was a cautionary tale of voter suppression. The same tactics that were used back then to hand George Bush the election are still present today.
Directed by Richard Ray Perez (Rick) and Joan Sekler.

yeaaaahhhhh boi... The infrastructure for voting clearly is just absurd. It's like trying to cross a rope bridge with a semi-truck. Need dat free/libre/open source blockchain vote.

Really great doc, guys, I appreciated that it was a little more subtle than many of the others by BNF. I don't need the huge infographics and Fox News style bombastic approach. The material here is infuriating enough, and dialing down the presentation a little means that the people that actually need to hear this (those maybe a bit on the fence) might actually watch and learn instead of turning it off. Please make more like this, and keep up the fight!

A uniform standard is not required. First, the counties were already different in the method votes were tabulated. Second, Florida law gave each canvassing board discretion on how to tabulate votes. That is why the Florida Supreme Court refused to set a standard…it would have been accused of making law. The law was there, but the US Supreme Court ignored Florida law.

Gore team point of view was insufficient time to ask all 67 counties for a recount. Florida had no provision for a statewide recount. It would have taken two to four weeks.
