just to let you know that chanyeol is a singer + rapper.. don't compare him to other rappers who only rap. Chanyeol can sing, rap, compose music and play instruments rapping is not his main and only thing and according to that he's really good at what he's doing so ya'll better go hate on someone who really lacks talent.
Just as typical of kpop idol fans. They extolle their idols like they are kind of god if their idols do good and make excuses when their idols do not do well enough to meet the other's expectations to cover their idol's weakness. since no one's talking about Heize's rap I will. she's one of the most well rounded soloists I've ever listened to. she's a vocal powerhouse, insane rapper, 10/10 lyricist And a great dancer. absolutely no hate to Chanyeol, but it kinda sucks how no one is acknowledging Dahye and her amazing talents. I miss when she used to rap like this, hope she tries another rap/r&b album soon

I like chanyeol and exo but this was honestly just really cringey hearing his rap. If you know what he's saying you'll understand because most if not all of his rap here is just he's a big deal because he's in exo and all the girls go crazy when they see him. There's a line where he says "Sorry Mr Chairman but I'm gonna try a little rap today MOTHERFUCKER" showing that he just sees rap as swearing. Like Yeah he sounded fine but for Koreans who can understand it the sound and flow won't matter much because all they'll hear is the really bad lyrics

Heize's rapping voice is so clear that we can catch every single words she says, despite her powerful performance. She has all that swag and her stage presence is on point. Chanyeol is being so energetic that he can hype up the mood on the stage to make it real fire. A little joke he made about sm is really funny tho lol. This performance is perfect with these two and I love it. They're like two Alphas.
chanyeol is multi-talented, meant to be a vocalist and plays several instruments and composes and writes songs himself and is very good at those things. he is by no means a bad rapper, but he is not the best-- i ult him, and even i will admit that. however, he is still very good at rapping! heize as well is very talented, and this is her time to shine most, even though our yeol has such a strong stage presence, please do appreciate her as well. also, for all the triggered armys saying yoongi is better... no one asked? i too am an army, but yoongi and chanyeol aren't comparable. chanyeol is more of a singer and very talented with instruments and likes to write ballad-like songs, yoongi is by all means a very talented rapper who produces and writes his own tracks without filtering or censoring himself in any way. their voices are nothing alike, their styles are nothing alike, and their backgrounds and personalities are not alike. there's no need to argue over which is better, because you simply can't-- it's comparing an apple to an orange. remember that bts respects exo and exo respects bts, and many of them are friends-- we should respect each other as they do. :) just appreciate the performance you came to see here! remember armys, while our support and love for bts is everywhere, we really don't need to randomly bring bts into every other kpop artists' videos etc-- give them their chance to shine too!

Guys just enough.... Chanyeol may not seem great but he is good on his own. Him being on the show was actually good idea. it shows that he is trying to became a great rapper and he'll learn from it. There is a lot of great rappers in there , they'll help in some way. Plus he wasn't screaming the whole performance. His voice is deep and if he rapped the way you guys want it for the whole performance. The audience screaming would have made it hard for us to even hear him rap lol. After all he was being too hyper , excited and also he is doing what he is told to do. he wasn't trying too hard to be an underground rapper , he is naturally like that. and EXO-L .... you guys don't have to feel so bad okay. Him getting hated or some are being harsh will help him get better and better at rapping each time. Even though it's kind of a pain in the ass but that's how someone learns.. When someone treats you badly , you learn to prove them wrong.
I think Chanyeol is also a vocalist but he is just rapping since they needed a rapper, which reminds me how Jackson from GOT 7 said that he raps but he's not really a rapper since GOT 7 needs a rapper to rap.

chanyeol dont usually rap like this, all i can say is he was too overexcited that leads him to screaming which many of you start to think of him as a bad rapper. So c'mon ppl instead of sending hates and giving bad comments why not you appreciate somone's hardwork at least so that he can improve and reach most of your standards out there
Naffaz Rasheed i think it's just the style of the song/rap. It has too be rapped in aggressiveness and cockiness (ex: the lyrics) which he portrayed. But of course he doesn't rap like this if you check his soundcloud acct or his groups songs :) lol
