How to guarantee a 1 shot for any hero as Roadhog: 200hp units - hook your target, and as they're stunned, walk forward, shoot towards the neck/lower head, then follow up with melee. DONT aim directly at head cause head hitboxes are smaller causing pellets to miss, and DONT aim for the body cause pellets won't do enough damage to one shot. 250hp same steps but aim higher up the neck as u see in cyx's clip 1:37 then follow with melee. You can't aim direct head because pellets will miss and not direct body because it won't do enough damage to secure a one shot. 300hp+ aim straight to the head because u can't oneshot any tank in the game at full hp. The most value you can get is to shoot directly at the head, as most of the pellets will connect dur to their large head hitbox. Don't waste your time aiming at the body because your dealing less damage (obviously).
Also dont melee after hitting tanks because then the follow up shot will br slower like allowing a sigma to get a shield or getting an ana to throw a nade at them now dont get me wrong if they are like 270 or less hp u can prob 1 shot with melee which is better than waiting for 2 shots so do your best to judge there hp in some types of scenarios do the same with bastion but besides that great comment also if u really want to learn hog then watch the hog video on karqs channel he did a really good job its old but still works
The past couple games I didn't rack up big stats, I just acted as a role player and picked counters to shut down the other team. I played to win, not to get all golds
Completely unranked (new) accounts get large bonuses and penalties to SR after placements. It's a way to continue to adjust to the player's real rating. In theory it's good because smurfs get out of your SR faster.
@@babybeen1 it honestly depends, I'm only a 3650 peak this season so I wouldn't know but my friend was 3850ish but he didn't play enough games to qualify for t500 then he dropped so idk
No its not ws its based on stats i placed at low silver and im diamond i had 150 sr per win in silver then 50 in gold and 30 in plat and now at my actuall acount i have 20 to 30 sr per lose or win game knows what r u doing if game doesnt give people with way more higher skills game will broke for smurfs in a day
Since he is a low level putting up really good stats, the system marks him as a better player, giving him a shit load SR than it normally would to put him in the rank he belongs.
What pisses me off about this is they have a certain plan. All are in game chat. All acknowledge to do the plan. Yet they don't follow it and that leads to people like me go off on the team for doing the DIRECT OPPOSITE of what we said. Like this game just made me mad cuz they all played like bronze 😂🤣
It's actually New account, Since he's a 4600 Smurf they try to get him up to where he was originally faster, To stop smurfing, and because the game has gotten Better overall
Watching your videos I always wonder how do you manage to one shot 250 hp characters with shots like that >> 1:37 , but then I struggle to one shot people from really close range(after hook of course). I obviously do something wrong, but I have no idea what.
The combo to do as much damage as possible is: shoot m1 or m2 depends on range of the enemy -> hook -> walk forward -> m1 -> melee . At that point heroes of 200 hp should be dead, but yeah then you have hitbox stuff like ana which is just bs and rng, of how much pellets (of your shot) connect (to the head/at all)
@@airination6140 Yeah. I usually have no problem with 200 hp. The 250 heroes is the problem. I do step combo(plus shoot before hook of course) and try to aim around chest/head area but they still survive.
@@Kuraiomo 250 is just having luck that enough pellets hit the (head) enemy. By increasing that change only walking forward while hooking can increase that change. Its luck pretty much.

You don't want it but that doesn't mean that I wanne see the plat/low diamond games. Maybe he is just skipping the low sr games cuz its not entertaining
