No idea how youtube decide to feed me this video 3 years later, but this is absolutely bonkers. I would say this is even better that Animenz's original version. Definitely deserve more attention.
@ByForschle Bro it's not all about hitting the right notes. Chopiano had accuracy and speed but his performance lacked dynamics resulting in it sounding messy in some parts such as "The Wall". He did well to play the piece all the way through though and on tempo.
@@scyllasemusic2254 that could be true but I have a keyboard and it can adjust the touch sensitivity to require more or less pressure from my fingers. His is a bigger keyboard so it should be able to do that too.
@@derenji1617 Also if you don't mind me asking how long have you played on a piano and do you have any tips for solo learning? And how do you get better at sight reading?
@@SH-yp4mv I learnt piano for 11-12 years. If you want to learn piano seriously and be a performer, I would suggest that getting a good teacher would help a lot. If it's your hobby then pay attention when you are playing, to how you're using your fingers, what are you trying to express, and of course playing études like czerny, chopin would help a lot. For sight reading, I would suggest you to watch music videos with sheet music along with it, or try out a new piece everyday.
Woooowowow! The fact that animenz said that this piece was a mistake by animenz himself, you still pulled it off. Very few people out there are able to play this piece and you're one of the few! I'd like to also mention the fact that Deren switched up some parts of the song to part it from animenz's actual arrangement. I found that really cool!! Great job man. Kudos!
Most videos out there are people barely being able to play this piece. You absolutely destroyed it, and added more to it!!! Absolutely incredible, a true work of art. 10/10 👌
Your added details are as equally impressive as your comfort in playing this song. Ive watched at least 6 covers so far and yours is extremely well done.
Oh my gosh, I just stumbled upon this today and this has got to be one of the best covers. I would argue that this is even better than Animenz's original cover, especially with the additional modifications you made to his arrangement. Saying this is a great job would be understatement. This dynamics control is incredible too. I'm really glad I found this video!
This is so impressive! I really enjoyed your interpretation of this arrangement. Also, @ 1:53 the clarity of those notes are unreal. You nailed every one of them.
Amazing! One of the best cover for this piece. Top tier, even liked the little modifications you made, makes it unique than the others. Skills obviously 😣👌👌
As much as i struggle to say this, I think this cover actually is better than Animenz. Really amazing man, your interpretation and own twist is beautiful
@@FwogetoPiano yeah this is definitely better than animenzes original as this just is more accurate, less mistakes but also due to the technical superiority this guy has he's able to focus very nicely on the interpretation and clarity of each passage bringing out melodies in such a fashion i haven't heard animenz doing
Subscribed. Totally impressed. I just started learning this one. Your skill level is definitely above the piece for you to perform it so effortlessly. As a fellow pianist relatively new to RU-vid, you probably noticed popular VGM really helps with the views. I recommend you cover more Animenz’ arrangements.
HOW DID THIS FLY UNDER THE RADAR??! it was an amazing performance and you made it seem so easy too! I also love how you added more to it without it changing the overall animenz-feel if you know what I’m saying
No joke I usually hate saying this but this is genuinely one of those moments where the cover is better than the original. Animenz's version was amazing, he did the extremely hard work of transcribing it, then you've perfected it.
