I really like the game, and only need one more gold medal, but if you put in a time trial mode in your game, you also have to put in a timer or you have to at least give the time at the end of a level instead of only the record time... :)
Really love the game also but agree with the others. We need a timer and some of the cut scenes need to be skippable or not count towards the speed run times. Hideaway has a 1 minute cut scene at the beginning and if we're playing for speed any fault in the 13 min level we have to restart and watch it again.
I officially give up from this game, I just completed Unravel 1 some days ago and it was one of the best experiences I ever had, a truly beautiful game that I will never forget, but these trophies? Nah, I am a completionist but I ain't gonna go through these absolute ridiculous times, I want to remember Unravel for one of the best games I ever played, I don't wanna remember Unravel for being one of the most tedious and miserable things I ever had to go through but hey I freaking respect you so much for doing this, great run man, I am proud to see that some people got this platinum! I have done some really hard shit even platinums with higher rarity than this one but I ended up hating some of those games forever after the platinums and I really don't want that with Unravel. Unravel 1 was a piece of art and I will forever be thankful for that experience, I like to do some design shit so I even illustrated my Unravel platinum screenshot and I made another image with a huge text expressing my feelings about Unravel, the creative director saw it on my twitter,he liked it and even messaged me thanking for the kind words... I don't want to s*** on the creators for putting these trophies, they are amazing people that provided me with one of my favorite games ever but I truly understand the anger and frustration of the people I see commenting. To me the most important thing with this game was to have fun and I just spent 3 hours on the VERY FIRST LEVEL, this ain't fun and it's absolutely depressing and infuriating. I will never want to remember Unravel for this, I am moving on. Thank you Lucas for helping the people, great videos! Abraços de Portugal!
This one is for sure much more stressful than the first game's platinum, but imo is as beautiful and enjoyable as you described it's prequel. I'm actually able to enjoy the process of grinding speedrun trophies like this one, but it always involves some level of frustration. It's very unfortunate that this first level of the game is actually the hardest one to get the gold medal, the time requirement is very tough and it took me several attempts/hours just figuring out ways to shave more time here and there. It's completely understandable to choose not to go after these trophies if you don't feel like pushing yourself through dozens of resets without having much or any fun, it can really ruin the game for us completionists sometimes. I hope you at least had some fun with the game, and I'd really recommend people at least beating it if they can ignore the trophies, I think the two character mechanics add a lot in terms of platforming and puzzles, without losing any of it's beauty from the first one. @@blueskin1978 thanks for the motivation but I've quit that game a long time ago. I still completed the story, it's an amazing game but not going to bother with the platinum. I really wanna remember Unravel as an epic experience and don't wanna end up hating the game.
I thought I was good at platform games until I came across this, I do like the game but Cmon need a lilttle time indicator to save us bothering with stages if we don't get to a certain part say in 5 mins we can start again Oh and that cutscene is beyond 😒
I have learned where splitting isn't necessary, and where it is helpful, as well as which jumps can be made earlier than I initially thought, and how far some swings can actually launch you. I also learned you can reel yourself in faster when hanging off walls by spamming jump, really speeds thing up. This level was driving me up the wall, and I'm glad it's considered the hardest time challenge. Thank you, you beautiful maniac.

This lvl is harder than 3 and 4 for me. Thanks for the useful vid, awesome run. How many runs did you have to do, approx, to get it? edit: Did it, 12:53 was my final run. Took me a good 50 hours I thing...
Tudo bem Lucas? Parabéns pela run! Cara meu melhor tempo até agora foi 13:35. Uma coisa que preciso acertar pra ajudar a cair o tempo é pular na caixa igual você faz aos 3:09 porém a maioria das vezes fico preso nela! Alguma dica pra fazer igual? Isso vai me salvar em bastante segundos! Abraços!
Salve! Essa parte da caixa depois da cutscene salva bastante tempo mesmo se pegar o ciclo adiantado dos inimigos, mas realmente nao é 100% consistente. Como o personagem fica fora da tela, é basicamente ficar spammando o botão de pulo já segurando pra direita no final da cena, as vezes o timing não funciona mas dá pra acertar até que bastante.
Holly shit, this level was a nightmare - Long as hell Cutscenes, a little RNG witch enemies and physics. I did it - but it is great example why Super Meat Boy Games are superior platformers witch Qucik restarts and whithout uunecessary cutscenes during levels. I men cutsenes in levels are good but not when You have to fight with time trials and You have to watch it and wiait over and over again. I had the same problem when I did Mein Leben in Wolfenstein the new colossus. First 8:30 min. long, unskippable beginning was an nightmare.
Nice job! I also prefer the 'fail/restart fast' type of games, but I quite enjoyed this one, they could've just added a time trial mode without scenes or let you skip them at least...

Yesterday I've got platinum in unravel 2 and Now I'm going to get rest of "time trials" - Because I'm going to 100% the best indie game - BINDING OF ISAAC - newest DLC - hell Yeah it will be a pure pleasure to return to my Fav roguelike.

Meu jogo deve tá bufado, não é desmerecendo sua run mas tem muitos erros... Eu já fiz uma run limpinha, fazendo coisas ate que ganha muitos segundos, tipo no começo na primeira energia que tem no chão, eu passo direto sem fazer o trampolim rsrs e no final tb eu subo na parede sem fazer o trampolim, e msm assim só vai 13:30 kkk tô com ódio. Namoral, eu tô dois dias tentando esse Satanás pra passar, caralho namoral q bagulho maldito, mano tem q ser muito perfeito a run, mas muito msm, eu consegui no máximo 13:06 e fiz td perfeitinho ainda, os cara bota um tempo ridículo q msm vc fazendo td direitinho n conta msm assim, faço exatamente as msm coisa q tu e n consigo pegar o caralho do tempo, tem um glitch q vc o usa o skate pra pular td o cenário da fase, mas é muito difícil tbm fazer é pura sorte essa merda, estou quase desistindo pprt.
You have made way too many mistakes in this run. I’m sure that time was for the one you got the trophy. I know cause this was my hardest stage to get the medal.
