After being put on antidepressants at 25 and told to stay on them, I never dealt with my childhood. I’m now 55 and was so drugged up I decided to get off all the drugs the industry gave me. Now, I cry at the drop of a hat, the smile of a child, the beauty of a sunrise- God has unraveled me to reality and as hard as it has been, I can bleed now and heal. Thank you Cory for this song. I grew up in the church my dad a pastor and lately I have been pushing God away because i am going through depression my dad wanting my back at church but I said I can’t because I need to get close with just God and I every body counting on me in church because I work in the church but now I read my bible every day go to church twice a week became the best version of myself became a youth leader and I am living for God

Just discovered this song. Tears won't stop. I made a mess of my life and I am absolutely broken. Somehow, after how long I ran from God, He is here. I don't understand how I lived in sin and addiction for so long yet He still loves me. I numbed my pain for so long and hurt everyone I ever loved. It is devastating. I am now on my hands and knees sorting through the wreckage I created and yet I feel that God is telling me to come home and finally trust Him to heal my brokenness. I don't deserve His love but i am grateful. "It's worse than I thought it would be....but I've never been happier". Thank you Jesus 😢

If anyone doesn't necessarily understand what he is talking, rather, singing about, I can give you my interpretation of it. I believe he is talking about hiding your pain, putting up a wall that can make you numb. You trying to hold it together, bursting at the seems, and it's not the way you want to live. So, he asks God to unravel him. Take down that wall, just fall apart. He talks about how painful it is, but he is feeling happier. Happier that. the walls are down, but it hurts, as all the pain that had been blocked up was now released. But in the end, let God put you back together, let him fix you up. Let yourself be unravelled by him so he can make you new. Please

I really haven’t been sure about my religion for a good amount of years now because I am part of the LGBTQ community and I’m afraid of being rejected. And religion has been shoved down my throat basically, making me not like it very much. But, I was at youth group last night and they played this song and it just really spoke to me. Music is my life, so hearing this song I think has helped me a little. I relate to this song so much, thank you for making this, it really spoke to me and struck me really hard in my emotions.

This song speaks so much to me . It reminds me of where my life had been over this past year so far . I could legitimately feel my life unraveling . Amongst other things , being in a physically abusive relationship with somebody who did NOT love me back , but me staying and convincing myself that he did . I believe God spoke to me one night and told me "Enough is enough" and I finally built up the gall to kick him to the curb . With one last hit to the face on the day I did it , I said "It's time to find the love of your life that God has created for you . He's out there , I just know it ." Soon after that , I joined Christian Mingle and I found him ... My true love . Someone who will NEVER hurt me . Someone who loves me and shows me the true love of God everyday through him . This !!!! I can't even put words to it. This song and album was used in such an instrumental way for my healing and deliverance- I was in a celebrate recovery programs step study it's 12 Christ centered recovery steps and program for any hurt habit or hang up (everyone has those) it truly brings the Holy Spirit into recovery and healing and working the steps is rough because you dig deep into the roots and core of your issues and such but it's a beautiful experience all at the same time and this album and song was on constant repeat. I would be on my living room floor just crying out, weeping to the lord, filling the jars he has for us with our tears. It was a beautiful healing experience. I recommend celebrate recovery for everyone !!
